Zach’s POV

The Red Wolf looked just as shocked as we did at Aria’s state. I looked around the room and saw a strange woman panting with exertion and covered in blood.

“How could you do this to your own daughter?!” Finn roared as he rushed her.

She easily dodged and turned into a white wolf. Finn shifted at the same time, and they crashed into each other mid-air.

The sounds of snarls and teeth snapping echoed in the dungeon while I ran to Aria to check on her. I know it looks bad but she’s a hybrid, damn it!

“Aria, Aria, baby, wake up!” I shook her limp body as a little boy stood beside me sniffling.

“Mommy!” He wailed and I turned to him in shock.

“Finnnn…” Aria croaked weakly, and I looked back down at her. The wound was stitching itself up and I felt relief that she would be okay.
