Masuk"I wish to know about my birth", Diana said. "Did I give mother a difficult time?" she asked. "Is that the reason you both decided not to try for more?"Her father Steve Sinclair sighed. "There is nothing farther from the truth than that", he said. "Oh, this is difficult for me. I wish your mother told you about it and why did that damn diary have to choose this moment to get missing?""Daddy, you are scaring me", Diana said. "What could have possibly happened at my birth that is so hard for you to reveal to me?" She started thinking that it must be something very serious and that is why they have kept it from me for so long and why Dad is finding it difficult to talk to me about it even now. What could it possibly be?"Dad, was I born with a defect of some sort?" she asked. "Please tell me. I am a big girl and can take it"."I don't know of any defects you might have", he replied. "And if you have defects, it should have showed by now. That you have seen no evidence of any defects me
Since after her mind linked discussion with her father, Diana had been looking everywhere for the diary her father had reminded her about but she could not find it. She had scattered the box she brought home from the Half Moon Pack, where she was certain she had ticked it into when Alpha Jayden had interrupted her reading with a knock but she could not find it. The obvious conclusion was that it must have fallen down back in the pack or while the box was being carried into the car. She may have tucked it into the wrong place while panicking so no one finds her reading the diary, though why she should have been bothered about that, was beyond her comprehension."Anyway, I shall take my time to look for it next time so it can remain a keepsake from my mum like she meant for it to be", she said, by way of consoling herself. "Since Dad already know the content or most of it at least, he will tell me about it when we meet later today. Which reminds me, I have to get going before Jayden co
The day Diana was supposed to meet with her father dawned. She was thinking if an excuse to give Alpha Jayden but since she couldn't come up with any plausible one that would warrant her going out of the mansion, she prayed."Oh Moon Goddess, let there be something that will be aje him away for a while, so I could quickly meet with my father and come back. Then I can tell him all he needs to know".It would seem that her prayers was answered because Alpha Jayden woke that morning and started preparing to go out."Darling, are you going out today?" she asked, praying that it was so."Yes", he answered, tucking back a strand of her hair behind her ears and brushing the others back on her head with his hands. His actions were so tender and loving that Diana felt bad about lying to him and hiding things from him. After today, I shall tell him everything, she vowed again to herself."There's a place I have to be for an urgent business", he continued. "You wouldn't happen to be going anywhe
"Not right now. Let's meet in three days, in the place we met the last time", he replied. "There is a lot of things I need to do all to you about. First about Amanda, and most importantly, about your birth". "My birth?" she asked. "What about it?""There is so much I need to tell you about your birth. I doubt your mother was able to tell you all that before she passed. But she did keep a diary. I don't know if you've seen it?"The Diary! The thought exploded in her mind. She didn't know why she kept forgetting about it. She recalled she had wanted to go through it last time in the pack but had been interrupted when Alpha Jayden knocked on the door to their room there in the Half Moon Pack asking if she was okay."I have seen the diary and yes, before mum breathed her last, she asked me to read it because there were things she wanted me to know which was too late then for her to tell me"."Have you read it?" he asked and he did it as though with baited breath and this got Diana curiou
Alpha Jayson left and no one in the Pack saw him for about three months. When he came back he kept to himself mostly but Diana could feel something brewing. She kept wondering where he had been those months but she had to admit that everywhere had been calm in his absence and she had breathed easier. Not just for her but for Cynthia and her family. She had been scared that bringing her to the Moon Crest Pack might not be enough to keep them safe, given that one of the culprits she bravely helped her expose was the co Alpha of the pack she was taking refuge in.When she broached the subject with Alpha Jayden, he had assured her she had nothing to worry about. "I had a private meeting with Jayson and the elders before the one where we called you in, where I presented the situation of Cynthia's a and her family before them and they agreed that any harm coming to those who have come to seek refuge with us would tarnish the image and reputation of the Pack and Alpha Jayson was made to tak
Third person POV As soon as they arrived, Alpha Jayden made arrangements to meet with the elders and Alpha Jayson's case was presented to them."We have run out of patience the first elder said. "We have given you enough time to mend your ways but you wouldn't bulge. We have therefore unanimously agreed to suspend you from your duties. This suspension is for six moons, effectively immediately ".Alpha Jayden had a large scowl on his face as he stared menacingly at Diana but Alpha Jayden held her hand firmly, squeezing it reassuringly."If we see how well you behave at the end of these six moons", elder Cecil said, "then, you shall resume your duties once more as the co Alpha of this great pack but if you are still found wanting, then the suspension will be indefinite which is tantamount to expulsion from the pack".Alpha Jayden seethed. All of this was because of this bitch Diana fucking Sinclair. Everything was okay until she got here."And what if I disagree with the verdict?" he a
Diana's POV I shook my mother violently, out of fright. "Mum, stop this joke. You cannot leave me like this", I cried. "Remember the plans you have been making for my wedding? If you leave me, how will you make me the most beautiful bride at my wedding?" I blabbed on, tears pouring down my face. I
Diana's POVI thought and thought. Paced and paced, till I was worn out from waiting for news from my mother. I have not eaten anything since I was thrown into the dungeon and the previous night, due to the excitement of coming into my wolf, I didn't eat much. Now my stomach kept gnawing at me, re
Anna's POVI got back from the factory very early. All through the night, as I worked, my mind kept going back to the discussion I had with my daughter Diana as I wove her hair that evening. She had really loved beautiful as always but there had been a special glow to her that made me remember my h
I thought I was overthinking things and tried to squash my feeling of uneasiness, explaining it away to myself as being a result of being too far overprotective of my daughter. But I kept feeling uneasy as I thought of her sleeping alone tonight. I wanted to communicate with her through mind link b
