Getting up

Elijah felt like his whole body was going to turn cold in anticipation and fear. He tried to call Sarah quite a few times. It kept ringing but no one picked it up. He called the guards as well but no one was picking up the call. He gritted his teeth hard in anger. He was going to kill all of them. 

He reached the hospital and ran inside it, leaving the car unattended, without parking. He ran toward the elevator to find it taking longer to come down as usual but he didn't have much time. So, he ran toward the stairs to take it to reach the floor where his sister was. Hopefully Sarah was there too.

"Oh god! Please let both of them be safe. They both mean a lot to me. They are my everything. Please god. I have begged you for a lot of time but he never showed any mercy but please just this one." He prayed loudly and frantically as he ran upstairs. He was breathless by the time he reached the floor.
