Aurelia's POV

I blatantly ignored Judah's questions and signed the document. The guy handed over the carriers and gave me a list of instructions for the pets. He must have sensed the hostility in the room because he rambled off his words and dumped the animals with me then ran away.

Gerald ran away as well after taking a good look at Judah. I placed the carriers on the floor and let out the animals, the sleeping kitten was pure black and was the cutest thing ever. She looked just like Salem from Sabrina the teenage witch. I scooped her up in one arm and the puppy had chestnut brown fur and a white patch on his head. He was cute as well, he grunted and lapped at my finger.

"Aurelia, I'm going to assume you didn't hear me the first time, what the hell is going on here? Who are these animals and what are they doing in my house?!" Judah's voice boomed. He dropped his bag on the ground.

"They are our new babies. I volunteered for us to be foster parents for them before they are put in home
