" Stupid Little Hybrid pest " Those words echoed in the silent room. Lisa couldn't concentrate on anything with the thick smell of blood in the place, it made it hard for her to even breathe without gagging. The cold metal pressed against her forehead was a reminder that she wouldn't live to see another day.

The ocean-blue eyes that glared at her were the most beautiful she had ever seen. It was too bad that such a gorgeous man had to be a psychopathic asshole who was about to pull the trigger on her. There was something about the desperation that made one stoop to so many lows. Lisa knew the moment she came back home and met the eviction note stuck to her doorknob that she was going to be desperate for a long time. She knew this was coming, how could she not with her inability to pay the rent for a month now? The Landlord had been a kind old lady who was very fond of her, this was the reason why she had allowed Lisa to stay this long even without paying the rent. But of course, even the kindest of people needed money as well.

Lisa groaned resting her forehead against the wooden door. It was such an old door and the paint was already peeling off, but no matter, that wasn't the important thing she should worry about. How the hell was she supposed to get money to pay her rent? She could barely feed herself one meal a day. Searching for a job was hopeless, Her Ex had made sure she wouldn't be able to secure a job even at the smelliest of places with the lowest pay. Beta West was the succeeding Beta of the Crimson Pack, this was considered to be the most powerful pack in town.

There were countless smaller packs as well but the Riverside Pack was the one that held the most power in Welthon Valley. Lisa had been betrothed to Beta West of the Crimson Pack since she was a baby, apparently, her parents held a huge debt to the Crimson Pack and were unable to pay, Luckily for them the Beta her taking an interest in their little girl, so what better option was there but I promise Lisa's hand to West, even though he was two decades older than her. Lisa had found out from an early age what disgusting people her parents were, they had been looking forward to her engagement for the longest time, they just couldn't wait to get rid of her right? So Lisa had grown up having her fate already decided for her, She was to be the bride of the strongest Beta in Welthon Valley and every other girl was envious of her.

She had no other choice but to come to terms with her fate, there was nothing she could do either against her parents or the crimson Pack, She was only a hybrid wolf after all and she should consider herself lucky to be engaged to someone so powerful and influential. If only West wasn't such a scheming son of a bitch! The man was the most disgusting person Lisa had ever had the misfortune of meeting. He didn't give her face at all, although he called her his betrothed and Future mate it didn't stop him from sleeping with countless other women. Lisa wouldn't have bothered much if the women West chose to sleep with weren't all her close friends and relatives.

He found it fun watching her bond with others and then snatching them from her, he had once fucked her cousin in her room. Lisa could never forget his smug expression as he saw her crestfallen face, he picked up his tempo and had Rachel screaming out in pleasure, on Lisa's bed, in her room with her parents downstairs. No one had said anything, no accusations. When West had left her parents had pinned the blame on her. "Why couldn't you be good enough? Why couldn't you satisfy him? If you had he wouldn't stray to other women!"

Her parents had encouraged her to sleep with West at the tender age of 15. This was the moment Lisa knew that those two were beyond help, they were so cruel and selfish that she wanted nothing to do with them but what could she do? She had no money, she had no job_ how could she possibly survive? So Lisa still had to hang on a little longer. Despite everything West did she never dared to speak out against him, she was too afraid of the circumstances. At the age of Twenty Lisa still hadn't gotten her wolf, it was clear to everyone that her human side was more dominant than her wolf side, she was nothing but trash now.

And just to prove his point, West grabbed onto her mother and dragged her to Lisa's room. He ordered Lisa to remain in the room while her father stayed downstairs. Lisa was horrified as Beta West stripped her mother and kissed the woman deeply. Lisa's mother didn't even try resisting she kissed the Alpha with relish and they began to have loud sex right in front of Lisa. This was the moment when Lisa realized that she couldn't stay there. Lisa had run out of the house with tears running down her eyes, Her heart was beating so fast against her chest and she felt very bitter. That night she didn't return home, she used the few changes she had on her to rent a motel to spend the night. The next day she went into town and found work in a pizza parlor.

No one came looking for her and Lisa was almost sure she would enjoy her freedom for longer. But after a month she was fired from her workplace with no reasonable explanation, She found another job as a waitress in a Chinese restaurant but that only lasted two weeks. From then on each job, she got always ended with her getting fired in the first few days. It was clear now that although West didn't have any intention of coming to find her, he made sure to make her life miserable. He wanted to see just how well she might survive without his help, after all, he had paid for every single thing she had right from when she was a little girl. Lisa had no intention of going back to her parent's home nor did she have a way of making money. She had been trying for the past month to find something to do but it seemed no matter how much effort she put into it West was always ahead of her.

" I don't think there is anything I can do at this point except leave town "

"Don't be silly, where would you possibly go?" Suzy was someone Lisa had worked with in the past, she was the only one who stuck to Lisa's side despite the hardship. Suzy was a great friend, she helped her out a lot and Lisa didn't know how to repay her

" West has connections all over Welthon Valley, ever since I broke up the engagement with him he hasn't stopped making my life miserable. I am going to be evicted from my apartment tomorrow Suzy, if I stay here any longer I am going to go crazy. He knows exactly what he is doing, he is trying to get me to go back to him willingly! "But you know something, I think I know how I can help you " Suzy's eyes brightened up " There is this club downtown, they are always looking for new entertainers. The good thing about it is that not even the Crimson Pack has connections here, West wouldn't be able to get to you "

"But what exactly do you mean by entertainers?"
