Chapter 14 : The Consequences Of Getting Into A Fight.

2020-11-20 14:40:00Aelin paced around the room waiting for her roommate, Laurent, to come back from the unexpected meeting with her ex-boyfriend.
Half an hour had already passed and there was no sign of Laurent. In that half an hour Aelin had managed to finish two packets of chips and a can of soda. She shouldn't be worrying so much but something made her anxious for no reason.
They were just teenage boys, not rival gangsters who would be pointing guns at each other's foreheads.
But one thing in particular was nagging at the back of her mind. Judging by the way Michael was behaving after seeing Laurent, it looked like he knew him.
Michael was angry that Laurent was her roommate and had also taken the liberty to come all the way to their dorm to talk to him about something that didn't concern her.
