"Babe, have you gotten everything you'll need?". I asked, handing my credit card to the cashier.
"Yeah. I think this is all. If I remember anything else you'll get it for me". She grinned and I shook my head.

Her due date was in two weeks. I couldn't explain how excited I felt to welcome the baby. I pictured her looking like mini Kris.
I'd bought us a new house as her baby shower gift and she loved it. It was furnished and had everything we needed, Including safety precautions for the baby. We planned to move in immediately after she gives birth.
