Kelly

For a brief second, I was once again struck by his raw power, by the sight of his muscles straining, veins standing out across his forearms. But there was no time to dwell on it.

I turned sharply toward the guards, who were still frozen in shock, watching everything go down.

“One of you, please take him to a room now!” I shouted. “And call an ambulance immediately!”

“Yes, Luna!” One of them answered, his voice trembling.

Two guards hurried forward, lifting Paul’s limp body from the ground

Kelly“No,” Alaric refuted, voice low and final. “I’m afraid I can’t accept that.”My stomach dropped. “…What?”Before I could blink, his hand shot out, pulling me against him. His strength was effortless, terrifying, but familiar in the way my body responded—heat rippling through me even as my heart pounded in defiance. He lowered his face until his breath ghosted against my neck, warm, intoxicating and oh so dangerous.“You’re mine, Kelly,” he murmured, voice rough like gravel smoothed by desire. “Every inch of you.”My breath hitched. His words slithered into my bloodstream, curling around my heart and setting it on fire.“Perhaps because you don’t feel the bond, that’s why you don’t realize how much I burn for you,” he continued, his nose tracing the curve of my throat. “The scent of your skin, the taste of your lips… even every curve of your body, I want to master it all; make it muscle memory.”When his lips brushed my neck, a soft, involuntary sound escaped me as a small, breat

Kelly Being apologized to by my parents certainly didn’t take away all the trauma, but it did heal something deep inside me—something I didn’t even realize was still raw and bleeding. For as long as I could remember, I’d been the family’s disappointment, the stain they wished they could scrub away. Their love was always conditional, their acceptance a prize I never managed to earn.So to hear them, even half-heartedly, acknowledge their faults and admit in front of someone else that they had done me wrong… it was like a tiny flame lighting up a dark corner of my soul. A fragile, wavering warmth, but warmth nonetheless.I’d spent years wishing for that moment, for them to simply say sorry, even if they didn’t mean it. And though it was far from genuine, it still loosened something in my chest that had been clenched tight for far too long. But I didn’t have time to bask in it.Because something else was already gnawing at me; a heavier thought, more pressing and urgent.Alaric had ment

AlaricMiranda’s lips parted, her voice trembling. “Your highness—”“I said shut up!”The silence that followed was suffocating.“Till date,” I continued, my tone dropping to something cold and venomous, “you are the worst parents I’ve encountered. And the daughter you actually did raise is proof of that. Tetra only knows how to plot, scheme, and ruin lives. She has no regard for anyone but herself and is ugly to the core. Every child is born innocent but for her to have turned out this way? It’s both your faults.”My words came out sharper, heavier and driven by an anger that I didn’t bother restraining.“I have no idea how you can both live with yourselves knowing you’ve failed both your daughters in completely different ways. I feel absolute disgust having to endure the sight of you.”Theodore’s face flushed with humiliation, his eyes lowering in defeat. “We apologize, your Majesty,” he pleaded hoarsely. “You’re already aware of the weight that comes with ruling a Pack and how dif

AlaricAs I stepped back into the Red Moon Palace, Kelly at my side, I couldn't express how proud of her I felt. I'd heard the Alpha bloodline of Red Moon was blessed with amazing gifts but seeing it first hand was definitely interesting.Even as scared and unsure as she had been at first, when it came down to it, Kelly worked on Paul like a pro despite the history between them. And as I watched her handle the situation with care and determination, I knew right then and there she was the Luna I wanted.Because of her, Paul had a higher chance of survival and he'd better survive because I still had plans to punish him for his actions after his recovery. But right now, someone else deserved a harsher punishment and goddess Selene help that pest when I finally set eyes on her. We barely made it across the Grand Hall when two of the last people I desired seeing came into view.Theodore and Miranda Redmond. Kelly's parents and the former Alpha and Luna of this fucked up Pack. I'd first me

KellyHis eyes fluttered weakly but didn’t open. Still, I kept talking. Anything to keep that thread of life from snapping.Minutes dragged into what felt like hours. The room was filled with the steady hum of the IV, the quiet shuffling of the maids, the sound of my own heart racing against the silence. He didn’t get better but he didn’t worsen either. And for now, that was enough. Finally, after what felt like forever, the faint wail of sirens echoed in the distance. Relief flooded me so fast my knees nearly gave out. When the paramedics burst through the door moments later, breathless and apologetic, I stepped aside, letting them see what we’d done.“Sorry for the delay,” one said. “There was traffic on the main road. We got here as fast as we could.”Their eyes fell on Paul—and then on the setup around him. The IV line, the bandaged wounds, the antibiotics vial beside the bed.One of them looked at me, visibly impressed. “You did all this?”I nodded silently, still catching my bre

KellyThat was all the encouragement I needed. Almost immediately, a sudden strength seemed to possess my entire being, flooding through me like fire in my veins. The fear that had gripped me moments ago dissolved into something sharper, focused and unyielding.I took a deep breath to steady myself, feeling my pulse slow from frantic to steady rhythm. There was no time for hesitation now.Turning toward one of the maids standing frozen in the corner, I barked out orders, my voice clear and firm.“His hypovolemia isn’t helping the situation,” I stated. “I want you to apply pressure to his wounds that are still bleeding and try to stop the blood.”The maid flinched at my tone but obeyed immediately, rushing to Paul’s side.Paul, barely conscious, let out a low groan, his lips trembling. “Cold,” he mumbled weakly, “so cold…”I snapped toward the second maid. “Grab a couple of blankets and cover him,” I ordered, my voice softening just slightly. “Make him as warm as possible.”“Yes, Luna!
