29.1-Understanding

Lola - on the morning of Friday, the 30th

It’s Friday morning; we have only been here since Wednesday night. A lot has happened in these last few days. I’m even healing well from the breakup, both emotionally and physically.

I’m cleaning up and changing when I notice Justine is on the phone. I try to be quiet while she talks about business. She sounds professional and no-nonsense about her investments.

But Justine also looks flustered, so I give her a peck on the forehead, and she smiles, pulling me to her. She kisses me softly through her call, making me feel special.

Gio’s entertaining other guests and is away for breakfast. No doubt working like Justine, and I understand. Markum still joins us to go over my training schedule today. It sounds more rigorous than yesterday, but I’m anxiously ready.
