Scarlet didn’t say anything and kept stepping the stairs. It was still dark outside and the time was merely 5:00 a.m. All the things Ginevra said to her had been going through her mind. She was not the same Scarlet. She was someone else, someone new who wanted to eradicate Evanora for what that Witch had done.

She didn’t pay attention to Emerald’s words. Oy Ginevra’s last words kept reverberating in her head,
