Well, this was the second time that his father had expressed his desire to look over his majestic wings. 

Emerald was confused as to what made his father Curious about his wings suddenly. As it was a rare opportunity that Emerald used his wings for he had been in the human world since a long time or probably the last 300 years, and here he can't roam around flying . 

Although he had been there in the human world since a long time, yet he was always keeping a low profile until the time of 25 years ago when his father, the present king of Azures had decided to go public and introduce everyone of his family to humans as humans. 

When the king made that decision , even the Luna was somewhat angry . But he was determined and he did so. 

Nobody knew why he did that except for him and his Luna . That day back to 25 years.... the king was sleeping inside his chamber and suddenly he went into a slumber sleep dreaming
