Just standing there in the middle of the entrance of the castle stood none other than Antone Grim.

I have to think quickly, if we were found by him, I really don’t want to know what he will do to us. By the look on his face, he is not in a good mood. He had his jaw clenched, hands balled into fists, and his eyes were darting everywhere.

I tried to see which direction he was going without being discovered, before I got back to the women. I looked again around the corner and to my horror, I saw him coming towards us.

I turned swiftly and as soundlessly as I could and ran back to the women. I saw some other rooms in this hall. If we could hide and wait for Antone to go back from where he came, we might have a chance to escape.
