Chapter 10: Arabelle's Visitor

"Given that, my face is so ugly that even artists can't draw it," Aegolus explained. He quietly emerged from his hiding location and moved closer to the table where the young lady sat.

"You startled me!" Arabelle exclaimed, clutching her left chest. She hastily folded the book and got up from where she was seated.

"Are you leaving already?" the creature inquired, perplexed.
