Chapter 8.1: Váhypták

Prince Aegolus was sleeping and hanging upside down from the broken chandelier when he was startled awake by a familiar presence inside the castle.

"This magic!" He thought to himself.

"I can't be wrong... Stygius!" His eyes widened.

The bird flew outside his room and began to roam. He looked around the castle for the owner of that magical presence. After failing, the prince was about to return to his room when he noticed white confetti scattered on the floor of the first floor corridor near the stairs.

He swooped down and landed in the vicinity. The bird examined it more closely.

"It looks familiar," Aegolus observed. When he reflected on where he saw these scattered little flowers, he realized it was the flower he had left on Arabelle's terrace.

"Oh no—" He was cut off by Vaste's shrill scream from the priestess room.

"The priestess had gone missing!" Ulula exclaimed.

The prince's nerves tingle with rage when he hears those words.

"Klaoss!"
