I couldn't sleep, so I decided to watch tv for a while.  About half way through an episode of "Law and Order", Maria started to stir in her sleep.  She started pulling at her tubing and crying.  I quickly grabbed her hands.  "Maria". I said as I stood up.  She opened her eyes, looking up at me.  "Your okay...your just having a dream."

She sat up, looking around.  "Where is he?  Where did he go?"

I shook my head, still holding her hands.  "Baby, whoever he is , he's gone.  He can't hurt you anymore."

"Because I killed him?"  She asked...She's dreaming if her father.

"Yes, Maria...you killed him...he's gone."

She put her head down.  "Your still angry with me...aren't you?"
