Chapter 8

❤️Maria's POV ❤️

The drive to my new home was short.  We arrived to an Underground parking Garage and Carlos had to enter a code before we could enter.  We pulled into a parking place close to the elevator, and I saw my red "baby" was there as well.  Carlos took our bags from the trunk of the car and grabbed my hand and led me to the elevator.  He typed in a key code and scanned his thumb print.  The doors opened into a room with marble floors, soft music playing, a giant water fall, and a grand stair case.  Carlos gave a nod at a man sitting at a desk, and we walked to another elevator.  He scanned his thumb print again and the doors opened.  We went in and  the elevator started to move. 

"This is a private elevator....it leads to one place only, and its our home...
