Chapter 167 - Searching For Jordan

JORY

My parents went too far this time! It's one thing to fuck with me, but to mess with my family and take my kid? They are going to regret giving birth to me for sure now! I didn't need to look for proof, I already knew who had taken Jordan, so I called my buddy Brant, who works closely with the Governor, and told him all about my parent's illegal dealings.

After emailing him specific details about my father's business, and side hustles, Brant promised that he would get the information to the ones that would take care of it. He wasn't making promises on the exact timing, but he's sure they will be picked up in the next twenty-four hours or so.

"Sweetness," I pull Aria into my arms once the police finally leave, "Try and get some sleep. I will have Ward and Dirk stay with you, and your mother and Nikki are on their way here now."

"Wait, where are you, Knox, and Merrick going?" She asks, and I can tell she's worried and maybe a bit upset that we are leaving her at all.
