His other hand that I hadn't realised until now to be resting on my waist, squeezed it. I don't know what that touch did to shoot an electric current to run through my body and as much as it made me tremble under his touch, it calmed my nerves.

“ Who are you?” I couldn't help but ask the question that had been lurking in my head for all this while.

I waited for his answer while he stared deep into my eyes as if trying to make a way to my soul through my eyes. Then before I could comprehend anything, he started moving closer.

The already small distance was closed in a painfully slow pace before his lips brushed against mine, robbing me off my breath.

With one single tug on my lips, he made me forget what I was and what I was supposed to do. The only thing I could think was that I needed my breath, coming from him. I needed his touch.

And then, like a swoof of air in the dark night, he was gone. Leaving me shocked, dumbstruck, trembling and craving.
