“I am curious about how you plan on making them fall for the treaty act. They are not going to believe it, especially not Alonzo.” I said, and he nodded.

“And the whole plan is for him not to believe it. He is going to need to be a coward in front of them, but in my own terms. When they see him for who and what he really is, he is going to try and fake whatever it is that he has in mind. It is your mother that I am worried about. If she really is working with Elton, then things are going to be a lot more complicated.” He said, and I nodded, knowing that he was right. The last thing that I needed was for him to be dealing with her. The two of them together were one of the reasons why Elton became as strong as he was in the past.
