Chapter 17

SOPHIA’S POV:

At the evening I went to the kitchen. I know how to bake. So i quickly start preparing. I am going to make a simple chocolate cake. When i finished baking it is almost eight p.m. I put the cake in the fridge and wait for Alex to come home. After a while I hear car engines stop. That must be Alex. I went to the front door to greet him. I can at least do this to him. Then I saw Alex coming in.

“Welcome back!” I greet him as cheerfully as I can.

“Oh Hi there. Looks like you were waiting for me" Alex replied while smiling. How can a person be this damn good looking.

“Y-yeah kind of. How was your day" I ask him as we head towards our bedroom.

“Tired as usual. There is a lot of work at office these days.” Alex replied exhaustively.

“Oh i see. Why don’t you get changed. I have a little bit surprise for you" I said.

“Oh sure" Alex replied.

“when you are done come to the kitchen. Okay?” As I say this I went to the kitchen.

“Okay"
