WANTED BY THE MAFIA PRINCE

It has been over a year since I left behind my birth place,my family and the love of my life.Actually she was never mine,my stupid heart mistook her pure friendship as something else but the moment she exchanged the vows with my cousin and the Capo Stefano De Niro then I realised that fate has some other plans for me.

I decided on moving to Los Angeles with my best friend Chase to build a new life for me and to find a suitable match,a woman who can only be mine.My parents were very displeased with my decision as Los Angeles was our arch enemies's terrotery and living there without the shield of my family and mafia men,my life will always be on jeopardy but I least cared about anything than running from Destiny,the woman who stole my heart but lost hers to my cousin,Stefano who happens to be her true mate,her true love.

"There is an auction for the guns tonight at Retro Club,you would like to come with me?"Chase asked occupying the chair opposite to me in the back of my bar that I opened six months ago and now its earning me well enough to live a fancy life without dipping my head in the dirt of my family business unless the family is at danger.

"Normally I would be looking forward to buy some rare old beauties but not tonight Chase because I've a lot in my platter to deal with first."I scoffed staring at the pile of paperworks related to my new branch at the other side of the city.

"It can wait for tomorrow Aless,I heard from my good friends in illegal weapon dealing that The Greysons will be there too and you know how obsessive they are when it comes to rare objects."Chase gave me a look of challenge,he knows my weaknesses.

"Fine I am coming with you but don't tell Adam about it.I want to gift him the auctioned guns on his birthday that is in next month."I said.

"My lips are sealed,"He imitated the same,"But be careful Aless and specially around Aitana Grayson,the princess of most ruthless American mafia house.She is death, Alessandro so do not come across her."Chase warned me of a phantom girl,about whom I've heard a lot but she seemed to stay low profile as no one has ever seen her.

Or she prefers to hide herself from public eyes unless someone,who wants to die come in her path.

"Don't worry Chase I don't do women anymore,at least not nowadays."I said prepared to leave as there is only an hour left for the sunset.

"I'll pick you up at seven."Chase yelled on my back while I decided to check upon my employees once more before heading back to my pent house.

Life has never been like this previously.I used to live with my family since I was a kid but now,I love being alone.It gives me the peace of mind to sort out my dilemma,my uncertainties about the future.My attention is needed here to keep our shipments intact without crossing the paths with Greysons,they are indeed a hindrance for us for past three decades since Antonio had taken over as the Capo of De Niro clan,since then we have been at fued.

Two hours later,Chase,I and our close friend Mason were sitting on a table sipping our whiskey as there was still some time for the auction to begin so in order to entertain their guests,the organizers arranged an erotic pole dance show mainly for their male bidders,who take more interests in naked female bodies so after they can empty their pockets.

"Lets get out of this shitty place,"I groaned in frustration as it wasn't helping me to rake my eyes on practically naked females bodies,some grinding on wealthy guest's laps.

They don't fascinate me anymore since I had my heartbreak.I never kissed a single woman after my kiss with Destiny after a unfortunate incident at a club.

I shook off her memories from my brain,it's not right.She has been married to my brother and boss.They have children now.

She was never mine.

"Dude would you enjoy yourself for some time,in fact the auction is about to begin in any minute so relax hmm.Meanwhile I am going to find a pretty cheek for myself.After all I paid a good amount for a VIP pass."Mason smirked getting up from his seat and went to the first rows of seats.

"It was a bad idea to hitch him along with us,"Chase shook his head in disbelief as Mason begun to grind himself on a girl.

"At least one of us is enjoying the night."I said finishing my fourth glass of wine and felt the need to use the washroom.

"I'll be right back in five minutes."I got up straightening the creases on my ironed suit.

"Be careful Aless as Greysons are also under the same roof."He reminded me of our arch enemies.

"Don't worry buddy,I'll be back in no time."I ressured him and made my way to the toilet area.

There was a chill in the air.Though,I have faced the worst circumstances in my life as an active Mafia member but being apart from the shield of the family is difficult in real scenarios.

As I was passing by a deserted hallaway,I heard voices and also the shattering of objects which alerted my senses and before I could think rationally,my legs involuntarily moved to the direction of the commotion.

I moved forward in the pathway through the dim lights,my hand reached for my gun in case I encounter some kind of danger when all of a sudden a body flew past me and landed on the hard floor.

"Ahh you fucking whore we are going to shred you into pieces."He growned and spit blood from his battered mouth.

I swiftly turned to look behind me and thr sight left me speechless,a young pretty woman in an elegant dress with five inches heels was fighting with men thrice of her size with no blows coming for her as she dodge them all before they hit her.

How is it possible for a woman with a petite frame have a combat skills that takes years of hard training to learn.My amused staring session was short lived as one of those goons hit her on head from behind thus she stumbled upon her feet and fell on the floor.

Shit I have to save her before they end her life.Such a brave woman doesn't deserve a death by the hands of gutter rats.
