SOPHIA'S POV:

"Sophia WILL MARRY HIM," the father r says.

In the evening before the party starts, some maids come to my room to help me get dressed. My father and mother wanted to show everyone that they actually cared for me.

The maids do everything they can to conceal my wound.And then they helped me get changed. When I looked at the mirror, I looked totally different. I've never worn makeup before, so it’s my first time. I couldn’t believe that it was me. I can hear music playing in the ballroom. I finished getting dressed and headed to the ballroom. When I enter the ballroom, the sound of gossiping stops. Only music is playing and everything is silent. When I start to walk to my parents' house, I hear them gossip.
