ASHINA’S POV

Poor Farkas! You should have seen his face. He was immediately triggered and turned red with anger and shame.

Now that I had struck the match and set everything ablaze, there was a certain satisfaction in watching his carefully built world collapse into ashes. Every deception, every falsehood he had spun to keep himself safe was now unraveling right before his eyes.

It was almost amusing to see the panic flicker across his face, the realisation dawning that he could no longer control everything.

He had brought this upon himself, and I had no sympathy to spare. He deserved every bit of this reckoning.

Whatever lies he had fed Esther to protect his ego, to twist reality in his favour, would now be exposed for what they truly were—empty, desperate attempts to cover the truth.
