ASHINA’S POV

Rosy came up to me the following night to give me very crucial piece of news.

“Madam… Did you hear what happened to Esther and Farkas?”

Ever since Farkas had moved from my house, I allowed Rosy to stay back and work for me. Funny enough, she stopped addressing them as Lord and Lady, even in my presence.

What I loved about Rosy was that she was very fair in her judgement and loyal. Loyalty was quite rare and I received it from her. Additionally, she was not a fake. She was always sincere, hard working and a great advisor.

In her forties, Rosy had been through a lot and had seen a lot. Life had carved its lessons into her, not with gentleness but with the sharp edge of experience.

She had walked through love and loss, through laughter that echoed in the night and tears that fell in silence.

She had seen the delicate beauty of life and the extreme cruelty of fate. Friends who had once stood beside her had drifted away, some lost to time, others to betrayal.
