FARKAS’ POV

The moment the court finalised my divorce from Ashina, an eerie kind of emotions took over me.

Relief. Excitement. Freedom.

I stepped out of the grand tribal court, my hands clenched into fists, my heart racing. The burden that had weighed on me for so long had finally lifted, although I had lost everything and could not evn marry Esther instantly.

I had no idea that Ashina was so strong as to stand in the tribal court to make sure that I had nothing left in my hands. Not only was she smart, but she took her revenge.

I could not deny the fact that while I was at the border, Ashina had taken good care of my parents; something I should have done. While her wealth was what got us involved and interested, today I had been free from her.

Yet the drama that had to take place at Ashina’s house was overwhelming. From the time we barged in thinking that she was an Omega and that she would collapse, she had not given up. SHe was ready to fight till her last breath.
