Hope

Rubi had not yet given the answer to Langit's offer, moreover Langit had not explained what an orphanage was to Rubi, what the man had done only saying that they could go to school if they were in an orphanage, Rubi who didn't understand then whether an orphanage was the same as a school?

"Tomorrow uncle will come back with your new clothes, now uncle should go back home." Langit again stood about to turn away from Rubi, but Rubi chased after him.

"Uncle Langit, take care of yourself," said Rubi, shaking his hand.

Instantly Langit became speechless at seeing how he had kissed his hand, the boy was so well behaved. He rarely found such a well behaved little street boy like Rubi, and it's all certainly because Green, He was smiling as made up Rubi's quite messy  hair. "Of course, Rubi, I bid you farewell, Assalamualaikum."

 "Waalakumussalam."

Rubi stood staring at Langit as he entered the car and looked at Rubi as he waved back and forth with a slight smile as a replied of Langit, then Langit disappeared from the sight and Rubi returned to his friends.

In the car, Langit mind was fixed on what he had just seen. Green's laugh filled his head, it was the first time he saw Green laugh out loudly, usually the woman would only react to anything as necessary. Especially when it came to him. Green's kind of spacing out, Langit did not even know why that happened.

Cherry and Green's closeness didn't absolutely make him any closer to Green, considering how she was behaving to him. It was so obvious that Green seemed to be limiting communication with him, and it looked like as though they were never going to be close.

Langit continued his delayed way back home, briefly settling his mind of the complex Green figure and Kalila's overly difficult request. Langit was driving his car, his face looked very calm and enjoy but his mind was racing and messy.

"Who is he?" asked Green enthusiastically.

 "His name uncle Langit."

 "Langit?"

After Rubi mentioned the name, Green thought hard, inside she asked. "Does Rubi mean the same Langit as Cherry's brother? No, It's impossible, It should be different one." Green said to herself, shaking her head.

"I'm sure it's a different one, after all there are lots of Langit name in the world. It could be Langit that Rubi is referring to is the owner of an orphanage who just happened to pass by. Yeah, I'm sure," murmured Green, she was trying to reassure herself that it wasn't Cherry's brother that Rubi mean..

"Sister Green.., " called Rubi who saw Green daydreaming.

"Yes, dear?" replied Green who came out of her daydreaming.

"What happened, Sis?" ssked Rubi worried because he saw Green as if she was in the middle of something.

"It's okay dear, I've got to go. I'll come back here later, you take care of yourself, take care of your friends too," said Green and ruffled Rubi's hair with lovely touching.

"Yes, sis," Rubi replied with a smile. "Friends, sister Green is on her way home," Rubi said quite loud to turn his other friends over immediately, and soon they were shaking Green one by one. After shaking hand with Rubi and his friends, Green left them. Her job was waiting for her, it's not time to focus on other things, 30 minutes to the next 7 hours she should focus on work, only on work, nothing else.

***

As the day has turned, the sun has finished its duties today, it's just the moon that graced the night with its dazzling rays. Seven hours would not be a short time if we spent doing work that we do not like, but in contrast with Green, she did past it well at least for today, though what she did was not part of her desire. Green did everything she could, not just what sahe liked, it's not only for paying her daily life but also saving for her own future bussiness. While waiting for her replacement friend to arrive, Green decided to change her clothes first, she noticed that the circle watch on her wrist was at a quarter past ten, no wonder she was feeling exhausted. The shadow of her beloved mattress fluttering, making her rush to change quickly, Green's goal now only to get home as soon as possible, had forgotten that she had accepted Cherry's invitation to stay at her house.

After spending a few minutes getting dressed, Green took the time to check her phone first. There were several messages and calls from Cherry, most of it asking when Green was done, it was delivered at exactly 10:00 p.m, which made Green remember her promise then finally answering one of them, "I'm done, now OTW."

Cherry replied back the message quickly "okay, be careful, Green, I'll be waiting."

After reading the message, Green saw one contact she had ever pinned down, no messages or calls coming in from the guy. Normally, Alta would worry so much about herself when she was out working at night, once again Green had to let down that Alta had failed to live up to her expectations. He grew more and more distant, disappeared more frequently, and stopped keeping in touch. Green smiled faintly. "Maybe Alta was exhausted, so he could not get on the phone or chat," Green said to herself as she turned her cell phone in and hurried when she saw Riza. She still believed that Alta would never betray or break his promise.

"Za, I'll be back home."

"Yeah, take care Green. Who are you back with?" asked Riza as he sorted out his things.

"Just like usual, online public mototcycle," said Green casually.

"It's been night, Green, want me driving you back home?" Worried Riza offered to deliver Green.

"No, Za, I'm fine, outside is still crowded. Don't worry, I can take care of myself. You go on with your bussiness."

"Really don't want me to drive you?"

 "No, Za, it's okay."

 "Okay, take care then."

 "Sure."

Riza was a co-worker and a man who had always cared for Green, Green reminded Riza of his long-passed away sister. If she was still alive, she would be in the same age with Green. That's why Green was always in Riza's attention, a man who already considered Green as his younger sister.

"Tell me when you get there," said Riza.

"Okay," Green answered, pushing the door and rushing out.

After saying that, Green left the minimarket where she work.

Green was very shock, she saw a car that she probably know the owner parked in the small minimarket parking area, and when she didn't get there, she was even more surprised when she saw the person stepped down from the car and came closer to her, stared at her with a warm smile and said, "come in."

Green was still shocked to see Langit at her work place, not to mention what the man who seemed to accidentally pick her up.

"Green.., " called Langit who  saw Green did not react.

"I am, Sir," said Green faltered.

"Come in, I'll take you home."

Green was silent for a moment before her voice finally went, "thank you a lot before, Sir, I can go home on my own." Green who woke up from her daydream, rejected the offering from Langit, didn't want the same thing to happen again.

 "It's been late, Green."

"Thanks for the good will and offer, but again I say I can go home on my own." Green walked quickly while fiddling with her phone to order online public motorcycle, but suddenly she noticed that her Internet quota was over. "Ahhhhh why it's over now, it's not right time," Green said annoyed.

Langit who saw Green's gesticulating approached her. "That means you have to come home with me."

"I don't want to!" Green trongly declined.

"I'm sorry about last week, I didn't mean to be rude at all, sorry to make you uncomfortable at my treatment."

Green looked up at Langit for a moment and then looked away. "I hate guys with kind of that beehaved and have hidden intention!"

 "I didn't mean for that."

"But what you did led it there, Sir."

"Brother, no, Sir," Green changed her word.

"Yes, what brother did last time led to what I said and I don't like it!" Green has been pouring her rage on Langit for weeks now and this is the right time to express all those feelings.

 "I'm  so sorry, Green."

Green snorted annoyed. "Don't do that anymore. I'm a friend of cherry, but that doesn't mean you can just walk up to me."

 "Yes, anything else?"

 "Don't dare to  touch me."

"Yes. Is there enything else?"

"No," Green answered without looking at him.

Instead of worrying about getting a shout from Green, Langit smiled again. "You forgive me?" asked Langit with Green's brief nod as the answer.

"Come in please." Green saw the man's black car with the door open, then she walked quickly toward it.

Langit gazed at Green's back with a soft smile. "Thank you, Green, I hope you'll be the only one who fill that place."
