The soul poison is in a state of fusion, but due to the special ability of the Dragon Hunter Spider, "Predator," it has successfully activated. There is a significant chance that a new talent will be formed through this fusion.

"Predator" Passive — After devouring other creatures, there is a very small probability of acquiring excellent genetic fragments from the prey, which then merge with the user's own genes.

… After reading this information, Logo’s expression turned peculiar.

"Well, well. Gustavo has really become a garbage disposal? Not only did he inherit ‘Luck Deprivation,’ but even the soul poison from his previous life has been passed on to this unlucky fool?"

"However, the combination of ‘Luck Deprivation’ and ‘Predator’ is quite a match. Once the luck attribute accumulates, a small probability could essentially become a large one, even reaching a 100% chance!"

Three hours later, after closing the information panel, Logo rubbed his temples and walked out of his bedroom. He had figured out the general situation of the information space; the stars were actually information carriers that could be read with just a conscius touch. Different stars represented different categories of information, such as magic, technology, deities, and alchemy.

Simply browsing through the directory had already taken him three full hours, and after detaching his consciousness, he felt a little dizzy!

"I really need to plan for the future," he thought.

As evening approached, it was already dinner time.

"Master, your aunt Catherine has arrived and is chatting with Young Master Xis in the hall. Should I...?" asked Lumbart, bending slightly.

"How else could I look at it? If she’s here to eat and drink, can I stop her?" Logo rolled his eyes and walked directly toward the hall, with Lumbart hurrying to follow.

The Campbell family's hall was not lavishly decorated, but the materials were exquisite, and the passage of nearly a hundred years had left it with a certain ancient charm. The dining table was long, covered with a wool carpet, and the tableware was neatly arranged, with servants respectfully standing nearby. They were all gray-eyed bloodline members; ordinary humans were not permitted inside the Campbell family's castle.

Aunt Catherine appeared to be a beautiful young lady, with fair skin and a tall figure. In reality, she was already 63 years old.

When Logo entered the hall, Catherine and his cousin Xis were already seated, waiting for him while chatting.

"Brother!" Xis stood up, smiling as he greeted Logo.

Logo looked at his nine-year-old cousin, who was extraordinarily tall, even taller than him, standing at nearly 1.9 meters. His muscular arms were strong and firm, exuding a sense of explosive power. His square face and short hair made his eyes shine with intelligence, looking keen and full of life.

The two brothers shared a very close bond, having lost their parents on the same day and grown up together, undergoing knight training side by side. Even though Xis would soon take the position of the family’s primary heir, Logo only felt a sense of loss and unwillingness in his heart, with no other emotions.

Smiling in response, Logo lightly hugged his brother.

"Xis, congratulations. You’re about to become a true knight!"

"Thank you, Brother!"

Xis was somewhat surprised, thinking his brother would be in a low mood. His worried heart relaxed immediately.

"Logo, your brother is about to become an extraordinary life form. As his older brother, you cannot slack off any longer," Aunt Catherine suddenly interjected with a sarcastic tone.

Logo glanced at her but said nothing, patting Xis’s shoulder before sitting down in his seat.

Catherine’s face stiffened, and anger surged within her. Just as she was about to speak, Xis hurriedly pulled her down, forcibly silencing her.

Tonight’s dinner was quite sumptuous, specially arranged by the head maid. Juicy meat steaks, a large glass of fresh milk, a fruit platter with a dozen kinds of fruits, vegetable salad… and a tube of "Emerald Elixir"!

The brothers’ meals were exactly the same, while Aunt Catherine’s meal lacked the elixir.

Logo first picked up the Emerald Elixir, removed the cork, and drank it in one go. The taste was slightly bitter and cool, sliding down his throat into his stomach, causing him to shiver slightly.

Soon, Logo felt the gentle medicinal power of the elixir spreading within him, subtly nourishing his internal organs and strengthening his life source.

A bottle of this mild and easily absorbed elixir would at least fetch 50 Tar Pounds in the market, but Logo and Xis drank one every three days.

Although the Campbell family suffered heavy losses in the "Green Battle," it was only personnel losses. The family assets were in the rear, untouched.

Now, only the two brothers remained as direct heirs, and even if they drank the Emerald Elixir every three days, for the vast Campbell family, it was just a small drop in the ocean.

However, human absorption capacity is limited. Even though they were extraordinary beings, one bottle every three days was already the optimal dosage.

The Gendaya people prohibit the use of highly potent elixirs before reaching extraordinary status, as hastening the process would damage their potential. The Royal Court is very cautious when it comes to elixir usage. Even mild supplements are only given to the next generation after thousands of experiments.

The Emerald Elixir is one such creation, specifically researched by the Royal Court’s alchemists for the Gendaya youths. It is the best supplement during the knight apprentice stage.

After placing the empty bottle back, Logo picked up his utensils and began to enjoy his meal. The head maid’s skills were extraordinary. The meat of the patterned giant-horned antelope retained its unique flavor, complemented by a special sauce, and with every bite, the fragrance lingered in his mouth, bringing immense satisfaction.

Logo had always suspected that Catherine often came over for more than just socializing with Xis. The head maid's exquisite cooking was certainly another significant factor.

As they were indulging in the delicious meal, time passed in a serene atmosphere, until a plump cat appeared.

It was a cloud-white feline with indigo stripes, its body swaying with a visible pouch as it walked leisurely into the dining room, unopposed.

Krasu!

Logo’s knight companion, a rare and noble cloud thunder tiger from the beast lineage, was a majestic creature that could easily reach the sixth rank upon adulthood. Some exceptionally gifted ones could even attain the seventh rank, reaching extraordinary heights without difficulty.
