Chapter1 Rebirth – The Omniscient Eye

The concrete training ground echoed with shouts, labored breaths, the clash of cold steel, and the piercing screech of blades scraping against one another, all accompanied by the stern reprimands of the knight instructor. These sounds yanked Logo—whose memory had only just awakened and whose mind still felt dazed—back to reality.

“I… I’ve been reborn?”

Surveying the unfamiliar surroundings in disbelief, Logo remained unaware of the imposing figure silently standing behind him.

Beff raised his foot and delivered a punishing kick—his usual method for reprimanding apprentices who daydream during knight training.

An ambush from a fifth-tier Grand Knight was nearly impossible to evade for mere fledgling students.

Yet this time, Beff miscalculated.

Though Logo had just awakened and had yet to fully adapt to his new body, the crisis reflexes from his past life as a fifteenth-tier epic martial artist remained intact.

Sensing the unnatural shift in the airflow behind him, Logo instinctively sidestepped and lifted his leg. His movements were fluid, natural, and astonishingly swift, perfectly intercepting the kick.

Beff raised an eyebrow, then a look of genuine surprise crossed his face. Logo, after blocking the strike, immediately countered with a straight punch.

The punch’s force and angle were flawless, and remarkably, its execution flowed seamlessly from the defensive stance of his lower body.

Even Beff, known for his rigorous standards, could not help but admire the display.

As Beff raised his hand to block the strike, intending to test him further, Logo had already reacted and halted in time.

By now, their movements had drawn the attention of numerous students.

Seeing Logo deflect Beff’s kick, some of the students who had been expecting to witness a humiliation froze in astonishment, their actions halting instinctively.

“What are you all staring at? Get back to training, and don’t let me catch anyone slacking!” Beff bellowed, his voice louder than any megaphone.

The students shivered and immediately resumed their exercises with renewed focus.

Logo, meanwhile, studied the hulking man before him. In the next instant, a torrent of data streams flooded his mind, and a bluish holographic interface materialized before his eyes.

“This… is a combat-assist detector?”

Logo thought instinctively.

The scene before him was familiar. Any mercenary or scavenger surviving in the Astral Realm would, if able, acquire the finest detectors available.

For those whose lives were defined by constant battle, such devices were as indispensable as smartphones and computers had been for the homebound denizens of Blue Star.

In his previous life as an epic martial artist, Logo had used various detectors, so the concept was not new. He naturally connected this to the familiar interface of such devices.

Yet soon, he realized the difference: the neural-link system was astonishingly smooth—as if it had grown directly from his mind itself.

Logo fell into contemplation, utterly forgetting the presence of Master Beff before him.

“This boy… could it be the provocations from Xis?” Beff sighed, observing Logo’s vacant gaze.

It was understandable. The position of first heir to the Campbell family was on the verge of slipping away. Anyone in his place might have reacted even more intensely.

The Campbell family, one of the Seven Great Families of the Red Maple Clan, held hereditary viscount titles, immense wealth, and influence. Yet…

Feeling a pang of pity, Beff patted Loge on the shoulder and decided to give the ill-fated young man a half-day reprieve to recover his composure.

Exiting the training ground, a man of roughly forty-five, dressed neatly and sporting a short beard, approached with a warm smile.

This was Logo’s personal steward, Lombart. The gray eyes in his forehead revealed he was a bloodline hybrid, not a pure Gendaya.

“Master, I’ve heard what happened today. Do not despair. Even if you cannot become clan head, your status within the family is second only to Young Master Xis. With diligent cultivation, one day you could become a legend—or even establish a new lineage of your own…”

As he opened the car door for Logo, Lombart spoke softly to console him.

Logo merely nodded, his attention fully absorbed by the interface before him, leaving no room to ponder family succession.

Seeing him silent, Lombart wisely refrained from further words and, after taking the driver’s seat, guided the vehicle smoothly away.

……

“I see… it’s because of this?”

Half an hour later, Logo finally sorted through the chaotic information in his mind and understood the origin of the interface before him.

In his previous life, his homeland, Blue Star, had just entered the interstellar age, wielding early nuclear fusion technology.

At that time, more than two hundred nations, weary of endless internal conflicts, had formed a unified government, ambitiously striving toward the stars. Everything seemed to be progressing positively.

Then, disaster struck without warning.

The moon fractured, forming a massive crimson eye suspended in the sky, casting a mocking gaze upon the pale human elites below.

Logo would never forget that day—he had been in university, enjoying the bright prospects of the future with his girlfriend.

Yet as the blood-red light descended, all those dreams shattered like mist.

Within moments, every military installation and once-proud human force—including the nuclear arsenal that could annihilate Earth a hundred times over—was reduced to dust, as if erased by eons of time.

Billions of humans, like ants, were swept into the sky by sudden tractor beams, pulled into colossal transport ships.

Millennia of human civilization, built over thousands of years, crumbled in a single minute.

The architects of this calamity were known as the Thousand-Eye Civilization.

A mid-tier Astral-level civilization with strong energy and mystic orientation, the Thousand-Eye species possessed high-tier transcendent bloodlines. They appeared as amorphous masses studded with countless tentacles, each tipped with an eye capable of emitting energy beams and psychic waves of varied functions.

Their spatial technologies were advanced, excelling in interdimensional exploration and cross-space navigation.

Despite being part of the Order-aligned Civilization Council, the Thousand-Eyes were inherently violent and predatory toward other planes.

Blue Star, however, was not truly invaded—it was “cultivated.”

In the Astral Realm, intelligent life’s greatest value lay in innovation. Advanced civilizations often covertly nurtured weaker civilizations, harvesting them once they reached a desired level of development.

Blue Star was one such experiment.

However, when Blue Star’s technology matured, it failed to yield the black-tech innovations desired. Impatient leaders ordered an early harvest.

After sparing a few highly skilled individuals, the rest of humanity was either experimented upon or sold into slavery.

Logo was sold to a young Thousand-Eye, enduring countless abuses, until an awakened transcendent talent allowed him to seize an opportunity and escape.

Relying on his innate abilities, he endured hardship and rose to become a legendary professional.

Once empowered, his desire for vengeance against the Thousand-Eye Civilization burned unchecked.

Blessed with extraordinary luck, Logo not only eliminated the tormenting Thousand-Eye youth but also inflicted significant trouble upon their civilization.

Constantly teetering between death and crisis, Logo’s strength surged, his professional level skyrocketing, earning him renown across nearby star systems.

Yet even a peak-epic martial artist was but an ant before a thriving mid-tier Astral-level civilization.

Ultimately, Logo was hunted, bounty enormous. Pursued by eight demigods, he stumbled upon a relic of a civilization and obtained a peculiar cracked eye.

“The Eye of Aslant!”

Touching the third eye on his forehead, Logo was overwhelmed with emotion.

He had assumed detonation of the spatial bomb would be his end—yet he survived again.

Reincarnated, he possessed greater transcendent potential, now fused with this miraculous artifact.

The Eye of Aslant, originally the Eye of Insight, was a sacred relic of the Aslant Civilization, a once high-tier Astral-level civilization.

Its destruction during the war with the Fulgor Civilization had astonished all.

“Who would have thought an artifact deemed indestructible could fail at the hands of a fragile one like me?” Logo mused wryly.

Miraculous artifacts, born from the rules of the Astral Realm, carried immense, often incomprehensible powers—Time White Feather, Chaos Stele, Elemental Furnace, Death Note—renowned across the realm.

These artifacts possessed extraordinary structures and eternal durability, rendering them nearly indestructible.

Fulgor had assumed the Eye of Insight would be no different—but it possessed self-repair capabilities unknown even to the Aslant. This fortuitously benefited Logo.

Ecstatic, Loge realized the Eye not only was a miraculous artifact but also a key to accessing the Aslant Civilization’s Higher-Dimensional Information Space.

At this level, civilizations could alter planar laws, manipulate causality, and even create entirely new universes from nothing.

Their immense domains required communication networks and data stations within the Fantasy Dimension, storing civilization data in high-dimensional spaces for instantaneous access.

Due to the Infinite Space-Time rules of the Fantasy Dimension, locating an adversary’s information space was virtually impossible.

“The Aslant Civilization is gone, but their data archive remains intact… and now, it’s all mine!”

Logo chuckled foolishly. Lombart glimpsed this through the rearview mirror, muttering to himself: “Looks like I need to prepare a psychologist for the young master—this cannot continue.”
