Chapter 39- Can I stay here, daddy?

A girl was walking in light green pastures dressed in all white, her dark hair playing with the green grass of the fields. With a smile plastered, she set forth to see something. Her eyes began searching like she knew he was going to be there. Her face lit up when she spotted a man standing in the distance. She knew who it was. He was standing by a swing and was holding the ropes as if he were waiting for someone’s presence. “Daddy,” the little girl ran to her father.

“Theia,” Damien turned around and caught her in a hug when she jumped on him.

“Where have you been, Daddy?” she placed two kisses on Damien’s eyes.

“How is my little girl?” he asked, kissing Athena’s cheeks.

“I am fine, Daddy.” Athena put her cheek on her father’s shoulder.

"Why did you leave me, Daddy? I am alone, and It’s been really, really sad here,” she pouted. Damien laughed.
