Ivara's POV

I wanted to speak, but I couldn't even part my lips, their words froze me to the bone.

“There she is!” I heard a man shout by my left.

I hadn't even turned yet, and he was standing right in front of me. He obviously used his werewolf speed. As I scanned his appearance, I realized that he was one of the guards.

“Trying to escape, huh? So Alpha's lesson wasn't enough for you.” To my surprise, he yanked my arm, then began pulling me along with him.

“No! I wasn't trying to escape, I got

Ivara's POVThe gravel crunching under our feet as I trudged alongside Eryndor was the only sound breaking the awkward silence between us.I couldn't help but glance at him. His eyes were fixed ahead, a distant look on his face like he didn't have a care in the world. Meanwhile, I was struggling with sweaty palms, and my stomach twisting painfully.I tried to steady my heartbeat as I glanced at the guards on patrol. They didn't look like they cared, but I still felt uneasy. After much pleading and coercion from Eryndor, I finally agreed to go horse riding with him even though it made my stomach churn. We'd just left the slave camp after I was done changing into the gears he got me. Yep! He came prepared. He got me comfortable pants, a shirt, sturdy boots with a low heel and gloves, and now we were leaving the camp.As we approached the gate, he finally broke the silence. “Tell me about Silver Moon, your parents, how exactly did you end up in Dark Hell?” he asked.I froze for a millisec

Ivara's POV“Stay the fuck away from me, if you think you're going to put me through that suffering again, then I'll kill you and kill my fucking self!” Ria's yell and curses echoed in the slave camp cafeteria.I stood frozen in place. I hadn’t said or done anything to her, I merely brushed her shoulders when taking my food and then she flared up.“I'm… I'm sorry.” I whispered. With a long hiss and a death glare, she limped away with the help of her minions. This was only my sixth day in the labor field and slave camp, but strange things had been happening.First was the sudden disappearance of the supervisors and guards who had beaten me upIt wasn’t sudden — I just stopped seeing them after the day I tried to kill myself.Rumors and whispers were saying that Xlynor had a hand in it, and it was all my fault, but I refused to believe it.The second strange thing was the bullying. I expected lots of bullying judging by the welcome I received from the headmaid and Ria, but no, nothing cam

Xlynor's POVI didn't know how I did it, but the next second, I was right at the furnace ground. My teleportation had been triggered without my consent. I didn't have time for the realization to sink in before I turned to the furnace. The silver-haired was walking straight into the fire, like she was being hypnotized… The strange part was that the fire had no effect on her even though she was seconds away from being engulfed by it.I used my supernatural speed and rushed over to her. My arms curled around her waist and, at the same time, the fire brightened like it had been fueled more, the force throwing us back. With my other hand, I protected her face then covered her body with mine as we rolled against the hot ground and debris. For some reason, all my instincts screamed at me to protect her — and I did.By the time we stopped rolling, the guards and slaves were already gathered around. I guessed my aura had alerted them.I stood, then dragged the silver-haired up with me.At that

I lost balance then fell flat, injuring my elbow and legs.“You found her already?” Another guard spoke. It was clear that he was the one who kicked me.“Of course. She was trying to escape through the fe

Xlynor's POVI sat in the back seat while a guard drove us toward the Dark Castle.I had just finished a meeting with the elders, and as usual, their topic kept revolving around a mate and an heir. Exhausting, I must say.I reclined into the seat, my eyes shut. I'd been feeling weird all day, like my demons were throwing a fit. It wasn't time yet, so what exactly was going on with me?Zane sat beside me, his voice low as he gave me the rundown while the rest of the guards drove in a different car behind us.“Alpha Callum pleads for your help, his pack has been getting lots of attacks from the rogues, and he asks for some Dark Hound warriors.” Zane muttered. My eyes snapped open at Zane's words and my neck turned to him. “He needs warriors? Then give him warriors. He's been a good ally,” I replied.Callum was a good friend and partner. Lending him a few warriors was nothing.Zane nodded. “Noted, Alpha.”I didn't respond. My brows remained furrowed and my forehead creased.“Why do we ne

  • Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha    Chapter 14: Bad Book

Ivara's POV“Isn’t that the five hundred million dollar slave?”“Who thought they’d send such an expensive slave to the labor field? Like—the labor field.” These and many other derogatory comments came from the other omega slaves loitering nearby.I kept my head low as I walked. None of their words moved me. All I was concerned about was my dream and Kerion.Kerion was the man who lived in my dreams. He was like that light at the end of the tunnel, my biggest supporter. I didn't know why he was always in my dreams, as he'd never speak about it, but I had come to accept him and, sadly… love him.My feelings for him were the main reason I jumped into Adrian's arms. I knew he was just the man in my dreams and the possibility of us was a no-no, so I sought solace in Adrian, and it was actually working— until he betrayed me.For some reason, after my auction, or should I say, after I stepped foot in Dark Hound, he stopped appearing. It was abnormal of him and deep down I was worried. But t
