44. What Should She Do?

Elizabeth stumbles into her office in a daze, unsure of what to think. Surely there must be a reason August lied to her. Right?

She heads over to her desk and sits down. Who was the woman with him? Why did he lie to her and say he was in Taiwan? Feeling like she was going crazy with all the unanswered questions, she throws herself into her work set before her. She might be a bit upset now but that didn't mean her work would go on the back burne
