I walked into the pack gathering with Logan closely by my side. The murmuring and little talks seem to quiet down, the moment I made my presence known and took my spot at the head of the room and turned to face everyone.

Logan squeezed my hand slightly, assuring me of his support and I squeeze right back before inhaling deeply and feeling my powers swell within me, just another subtle reminder that am not alone on so many level.

My eyes darted around and found Lily and Alana standing beside Silas and Judah by the entry way. I gave them a small smile and Silas gave me a nod in return. I sighed when i realized who was missing from the crowd. Luna Eveline was not among the gathered which is expected after the demise of her mate and husband, her presence  here would have be questionable.

As much as I hated what happened to the Alpha, it couldn't be helped. He had a choice to step down as Alpha by telling the truth but he choose the hard way.
