"Are you sure, you are ready to hear the truth about the man responsible for the death of your parent? Because it's going to be a lot more complicated than you think Avalon" I asked her again just to make sure she was really ready to hear the truth.
"I don't freaking care how fucking complicated it is. Just tell me what I need to know" she sneered at me through gritted teeth and I just nodded.
Even though we were standing in the dark, I could tell from the look in her eyes that she wasn't just furious, Avalon sure as hell looked like someone who is willing to go against all odd just to bring whoever made her an orphan to the stake and that's totally good enough for me.

*Ava's POVMy mouth was practically hanging low at the disturbing sight before me. Carlos had led us back to the pack house and then right into the clinic and in here, people were wailing in pain. Mostly younger men with bandage arms and legs, while doctors and nurses try to keep them from falling off their beds due to how much they were struggling.What exactly is going on here. Ava's POV*I stepped into the training Arena feeling all hyped and at the same time nervous and shit. At least, a thousand men and women were watching from their seat. Today happens to be the annual fighting contest held among the pack members for those intending to join the warrior wolves. They are given a chance to prove themselves against an opponent in a fair fight.It was more like a ritual where one physical strength and perseverance is tasted before he or she is tagged with the warrior stamp. *I returned back to my room feeling sore and totally bruised after Lily had finished dressing the cut on my arm.With scuffling feet and tensed shoulders, I continued to drag my way to the bathroom and slipped out of my soiled clothes before turning on the heat in the water as high as possible. Dressed in my training outfit of black jogger and plain armless T-shirt. I pulled my hair up in a tight ponytail with a band and then slipped on my ankle boots that was starting to wear out already.
