Kiara drove at top speed knowing that she needed to reach her husband before it was too late. Her heart racing against her ribcage with each passing second. She was glad that Ivan had called one of his friends to clear the road for them, blocking all the cars as to ensure no traffic. But they couldn’t tell them where to come in fear that the cops would end up taking the whole thing into an unnecessary case.

Knowing what her father was planning, memories of the night she believed she lost her mother played back in her head, breaking her heart. But the woman knew that it wasn’t the time to dwell on that now. She had her daughter in the car, and she NEEDED to get to her husband.
