“What took you so long?”

The moment we entered the room, Halen sent me an aggrieved glare and exaggeratedly pouted.

“It’s been days that I have been imprisoned here. But you took your sweet time to rescue me,” he started complaining. “Or is it that you didn’t want to see me and intentionally let them keep me here for a long time?” He sent me a hateful glare.

The corners of my eyes twitched as I watched the prince acting like a spoiled and distressed princess waiting for her knight to appear. I felt a shiver down my spine as I imagined Halen wearing a skirt. Thus, with narrowed eyes, I made a slicing motion with my hand. Immediately, the shackles surrounding Halen broke.

“Finally!”

Halen exclaimed with exaggeration.

I squinted my eyes at him and said impassively, “Your highness, I need your assistance.”
