The king of the werewolves was the most exalted werewolf in the entire land. All werewolves were bound to respect and obey all his orders. That was the golden rule in the werewolf realm. The king’s words are the law of the land and everyone must follow it. It sounded like a simple rule. But it was more complicated than that.

In fact, a werewolf could only give his loyalty to one being – and that was not towards the king. A werewolf could only be loyal to his alpha. The master of his life.
