My eyes traveled around the dark shadows of the throne room, aware of how of the steady beat of my heart, thumping deep inside me. My hand gripping the helm of the fire sword tightly.
She is here. Alpha Stated anxiously on edge, Omega spread his magic around us feeling every corner of the stone walls, and the large pillars that held up the throne room.
"Azian?" A familiar voice whispered, but loud enough to leave an echo, causing my eyes to strain through the darkness, my golden lenses scanning the room until it rested on the outline of a rough fallen figure covered by crossing shadows as it sat at the feet of the throne.
"Kaya!" I called out immediately wanting to reach her,
"Don't!" She yelled back her hand stretching out into the straying moonlight, and I faltered back when I saw the dark veins whispering inside her like poison, as she immediately pulled her hand back, a slight whimper escaping her lips.
