It’s been two weeks since Gabriel left and Azrael and her siblings moved to his mansion in Beverly Hills which is thrice bigger than Yerach’s house. Just like Gabriel said, the three boys are working in the bar, which was owned by Sebastián. The reason why was to keep them occupied while they watch Bernael and his actions. So far, Azrael wasn’t becoming interested in him anymore. Azrael haven’t talked to anyone, except Remiel and none of them even tried talking to her too. In the course of two weeks, Azrael didn’t explore the city nor went outside the house. When she finally decided to go for a drive, she saw Ouriel beaming widely outside her room, “What?” Azrael asked him. She sometimes adores Ouriel’s ability to smile at almost everything and smallest things. “You up for some adventure?” he said enthusiastically and full of excitement. Azrael looked at him in astonishment. She said nothing and only studied Ouriel who was all dressed up and ready for the adventure he was talking ab
Eavesdropping on a date is definitely the weirdest thing Azrael has ever done to her whole life, as in. She followed Bernael, knowing he is on a date and that’s on her. They were all out flirting when a waitress put down a coffee on Azrael’s table. She’s literally sitting back to back with Bernael. He has a great taste though, the girl he’s with looks like a model, but Azrael is definitely taller than her. “So, I heard that your adopted parents are passing down their company to you?” the girl said. The word adopted made Azrael’s eyebrow raised and tried to keep listening. She saw from the mirror that the girl is starting to reach for his legs by her red heels. Oh God, Azrael thought to herself. “Yeah.” Bernael said with a giggle. His smile is an eye sore for Azrael and now his giggle is a bomb on her ear, “I’m hoping I see you tomorrow night.” he added, his voice sounded like a moan, Azrael almost spit out her hot coffee. Right in cue was Azrael’s phone ringing so loud, the people n
“Go, try to blink.” Nae said as she moved away from Azrael who was sitting in a chair in front of the mirror in the walk-in closet of Gabriel’s mansion. Remiel was standing beside her, she grabs Azrael’s chin making Azrael to face her. Azrael was still blinking. Nae suggested that Azrael should wear a plain blue contact lens that matches her real eye color. The changing color of her eyes sometimes become uncontrollable, and it would probably scare anyone whom she encounters at the party if they ever saw it. “Stop blinking, I cannot see it.” Remiel said as she pinches Azrael’s chin, “Try to change it.” and Azrael does, “Whoa okay, it doesn’t show now. It’s pretty.” she let go and moved Azrael’s leak hair at the back of her ears. Yerach was standing at the doorway of the room, crossing his arms. He was already dressed up, his usual hair was brush up that lighten up his face, making him look more mature. He wears a black suit, a baby collared white polo inside, and instead of a tie or
The sparkling grand chandelier illuminates the whole dancefloor. Azrael, still in Jaoqium’s arms, stare at him. It was one of the times she wanted to disappear, but she wouldn’t do it instead she would be real, “Get off of me, jackass.” she said while staring directly in his eyes. “No, I won’t.” he smirked and said teasingly, “I didn’t realize until now how much I wanted to hold you.” Azrael frowned in cringe. The fact that they were moving slowly with the people dancing around them makes Azrael so uneasy. Azrael felt his hands push her to him closer. She rolled her eyes at him, “I won’t repeat it again, let me go.” she said to him. He locked her in his arms while they dance. To prevent the awkwardness, Azrael just plainly put her hands on his chest while struggling and gently pushing him, “Not gonna happen.” he replied while still flashing a grin. She forgot how good he was on going with the flow with girls. Azrael have left no choice but to step on his feet, he was surprised and
Rogziel was waiting for his siblings in front of the hotel, he wasn’t dress up but he was wearing a maroon jacket to keep up with the cold. When Yerach, Rad and Nae walks towards him, he got out of the car. They were accompanied by Sebastián, “That’s all he said, make sure Azrael attends the party and see what she does. Their dance is probably just a bonus of it.” Rogziel heard Sebastián say while approaching him. “Tell him to show up.” Yerach suggested. “Copy that. I’ll go back, and will watch them closely. The other guys would probably notice I was missing.” Sebastián said and turned his back on them. Yerach and Rad nodded at him. “Where is Azrael?” Rogziel said looking at their back when they started walking towards him. “She’s with Bernael, don’t worry she can handle him.” Yerach explained as he unbuttoned his suit. “Did you just leave her with him?” Rogziel sounded like he was proposing an argument with Yerach. “Yes. Don’t be so over protective, she’s not a human. No one in

“Are you a gangster?” Azrael said. She notices that Jaoqium’s earring on his right ear was similar with the silver chains he has on his suit. “Do I look like a gangster?” Jaoqium replied as he stopped the engine of his car. They were already outside Gabriel’s mansion in Beverly Hills. “Now you look like a psychiatrist, because you’re answering my questions with questions.” Azrael said sarcastically as she unbuckled her seat belt. Jaoqium was quick to open the door for her. “I don’t know; I haven’t met one.” he said blankly. “Well, you seem pretty adjusted.” Azrael said while watching him. “I’m not anyone you thought I was.” he said and propped his hands on his waist. Azrael stood straight and faced him. “I haven’t noticed you left your party early.” she said, she was quite shocked no one has tried to look for him when he went missing to his own party. He dodged his face on Azrael, making her lean back and whispered, “I hate people.” Azrael looked up at him and pushed him sligh
