CHAPTER 5

SIX YEARS LATER

Six years had gone by since the moment everything changed in such a way. Six years had gone by since the day Damien lost track on the woman he never thought he would lose one day. Why did she go? Where had she gone? How come he hadn’t been able to find her? Many questions, no answers because the only one who could give him an answer was the same who could be anywhere but far from him.

The meeting had reached its blowing point. Damien’s mind was still on those words. It was the moment of the silence to take over.

“No… No, it can’t, I can’t… you can’t!” Damien said, hitting the meeting table.

Around thirteen men had their eyes fixed on him and just one of them had declared their truth.

“The company isn’t going to success if you continue in the same way, Mr. Slimth.”
