Lisa POV

When I finally stepped into the room meant for me, my irritation paused.

The room was enormous. The Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the estate. A king-sized bed sat in the center of the room. There was a sitting area by the windows, a private balcony, and a walk-in closet that was bigger than my old bedroom.

For a moment, I simply stared.

I slowly turned in a circle. It was beautiful. Perfect, even. This bedroom was everything I’ve ever dreamed of, yet I couldn't bring myself to settle down and enjoy it.

If every inch of this place didn't remind me that my old life was gone.

A sudden memory surfaced.

Dad carrying my new bookshelf into my bedroom because I wanted to redecorate. Him pretending to complain the entire time while secretly smiling. He was laughing when I made him move it three different times because it didn't "feel right."

A lump formed in my throat.

No amount of money could buy those memories back.

I looked away quickly.

No.

I wasn't going to cry, not here, not in this house.

My luggage was already placed beside the bed. After taking a quick shower, I changed into fresh clothes and began unpacking.

Just as I zipped open my makeup case, there was a knock at the door.

“Miss Lisa?” a maid called gently. “Dinner is ready.”

“Okay, I’ll be down.”

I glanced at myself in the mirror, adjusted my hair slightly, then headed downstairs.

The dining area was just as grand as the rest of the house. A long polished table, elegant chairs, candles placed perfectly down the center.

My mom was already seated beside Ramsey and across from them was the tattoo boy.

He was leaning back in his chair, watching me as I walked in. His eyes scanned me slowly but I ignored him and took an empty seat.

“Lisa, take your seat,” Ramsey said warmly. “I hope you like the food.”

The table was filled with dishes that looked like they belonged in a five-star restaurant.

“Thank you, Ramsey,” I replied smoothly.

Then I tilted my head slightly and looked at him. “I hope I can call you that… Ramsey?”

For a brief second, my mom stiffened. She probably expected me to say “sir” or something respectful.

Ramsey smiled. “Of course. You can call me whatever you like.”

“Your mom told me you had excellent results in high school,” Ramsey said, cutting into his food with calm precision.

I paused mid-motion, slightly surprised.

“She really told you that?” I asked, brushing my hair behind my ear as I looked straight at him. “Well… she’s not wrong. I tried my best.”

That was an understatement. I didn’t just “try.” I worked for it. Late nights, extra classes, balancing school and my social life perfectly.

But still…I couldn’t hide my surprise. Mom barely noticed anything about me, even after I graduated from high school. Yet somehow, she had told him about my grades? That was Interesting.

“I want you to attend Columbia University,” Ramsey continued smoothly. “That’s where Zayn is currently studying.”

My grip on the fork tightened slightly. Columbia?

He turned his gaze toward his son. “He can help you settle in. Academically as well, if you need support.”

I followed his gaze. Zayn was already looking at me, that same annoying smirk sat on his lips like it belonged there permanently.

I let out a soft laugh. “No offense, but…” I said casually, leaning back in my chair as my eyes locked onto his. “I don’t think he has the ability to help himself, let alone someone else.”

There was silence, for a split second.

My mom shot me a warning look, Ramsey raised an eyebrow slightly, clearly amused.

And Zayn? He didn’t get offended. If anything… his smirk deepened. He leaned forward slowly, resting his arms on the table.

“Careful,” he said in a low, smooth voice. “You just got here. Wouldn’t want to start failing your first class already.”

I tilted my head. “And what class is that?” I asked.

“Survival,” he replied without missing a beat.

My lips curved into a small smile.

“Oh please,” I scoffed lightly. “I don’t need lessons from someone who looks like he spends more time staring at the mirror than being in a lecture hall.”

A soft chuckle escaped Ramsey.

“Alright,” he said. “I see you two will get along just fine.”

Get along? Not a chance.

Zayn leaned back again, eyes still locked on mine “You’ll change your mind,” he said quietly.

“About what?” I challenged.

“Needing me.”

I let out a small laugh, picking up my glass. “In your dreams.”

“Stop it, Lisa,” my mom snapped, clearly annoyed. “That’s enough.”

I blinked innocently. “But Mom, there’s nothing wrong with saying what I think,” I said softly, letting my voice drop just enough to sound hurt. Then I turned to Ramsey, pouting slightly.

“Did I say something offensive?” I asked, tilting my head. “I mean… just look at his tattoos and piercings. He’s so different from you, Ramsey.”

The moment the words left my mouth, I felt it, the shift. Ramsey’s expression changed. His eyes moved from me… to Zayn and just like that, the warmth disappeared. His gaze turned cold and disappointed.

Zayn, who had been casually eating just seconds ago, suddenly went still. For the first time since I met him, he wasn’t smirking.

He dropped his fork onto the plate quietly. “I’m done eating,” he said flatly, pushing his chair back. Without another word, he stood up and walked away. I watched him go, a strange flicker of satisfaction rising in my chest.

That was easier than I thought.

Ramsey exhaled slowly, then turned back to me, his expression composed again, like nothing had just happened.

“I’ve already made arrangements with the university,” he said calmly.

  • BEG FOR ME STEPBROTHER    Chapter 10

Zayn’s POV I pulled out again and slapped my slick cock across Shelly’s face, smearing the mess of saliva over her cheeks and lips. “Get up,” I ordered. “Climb on the bed and stay on all fours.” Shelly obeyed instantly, crawling onto the bed and positioning herself on her hands and knees, ass raised toward me. I reached into my pocket, pulled out a condom and tore the wrapper open with my teeth. I rolled the condom down my throbbing cock and climbed onto the bed behind her. Shelly was already waiting on all fours, back arched, ass up high like a good little slut. Without warning, I grabbed her hips and slammed into her pussy in one brutal thrust. She cried out sharply as I buried myself to the balls. “Fuck!” I growled, then started pounding her hard. I fucked her with deep, punishing strokes, my hips slapping loudly against her ass with every thrust. The bed creaked violently under us as I drove into her without mercy. “Ahh! Zayn! Fuck… yes!” Shelly moaned loudly

Zayn POVThat was all I needed to hear. I tightened my grip on her hair until my knuckles turned white and drove back into her mouth with brutal force, thrusting faster and deeper. Wet, choking sounds filled the room as I used her throat without mercy. Maybe Tony was right, I thought to myself. I need to get Lisa on her knees like this and teach her a fucking lesson…make her gag on my cock until she understands exactly who’s boss. The others started laughing again. “And where exactly did they write that you can’t teach your stepsister a very strict lesson?” Tony added with a smirk. “Y’all are idiots,” I muttered, leaning back in my chair. But annoyingly…My mind immediately betrayed me. Taylor noticed my expression instantly and started laughing harder. “Oh my God,” he said. “You’re actually thinking about it.” “I’m literally not,” I lied. “Sure,” Brian snorted. Jacks leaned forward with a grin. “Anyway, I wasn’t planning on attending your dad’s wedding…” He paus

Zayn POVZayn POV I cared about the girl sitting across from me pretending to be innocent while secretly causing chaos behind everyone’s backs. And somehow…Nobody else could see it. After finishing my meal, I stood up from the table. “Excuse me,” I said flatly. “I’m heading to school.” Dad nodded slightly. “Drive safely.” I muttered a quick “yeah” and walked out before anyone could start another conversation. The cool morning air hit my face as I stepped outside. I pulled my car keys from my pocket and unlocked my matte black sports car. The engine roared softly the moment I started it. Within minutes, I was already driving through the city streets toward Columbia. And unlike home, school was easy. At Columbia, people knew exactly who I was. Zayn Ramsey. The guy everyone wanted to be around. The girls practically worshipped me, while guys wanted my attention, my approval and my lifestyle. It was ridiculous sometimes but I couldn’t lie, I enjoyed it because at sch

Zayn POV I got even angrier. How could he do this? I had reminded him for weeks. MMB was my favorite cartoon, and they were doing a live show in New York for one night only and he forgot. I turned toward Mom, who was sitting on the couch watching me carefully. “Mom, please take me,” I begged. “Please. It’ll be over before Dad gets back.” “But your father said….” “No, Mom!” I cut her off. “I want to go!” She hesitated. I could tell she didn’t want to upset Dad but she also hated seeing me cry. Finally, she sighed softly and grabbed the car keys. “Okay,” she said with a small smile. “Go get your jacket.” I immediately brightened up. “Really?” “Yes, birthday boy,” she laughed. “Now hurry before we’re late.” That was the last time I ever saw my mother alive. ———————————————— Present Time I shut my eyes tightly. Even after all these years, the memory still hit like a punch to the chest. The rain, the phone call and Dad’s face at the hospital. Everythin

Lisa POV “Stop… it’s okay,” Ramsey said gently, rubbing my back as I clung to him. “I don’t know why he acted like that, but I’ll make sure I talk to him.” “Don’t worry, I’ll calm her down,” my mom added quickly. Before I could say anything, she pulled me away from him, her grip firm on my arm. “Okay… I’ll leave you two,” Ramsey said, still looking concerned. He took my mom’s hand. “I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, honey. This won’t happen again.” “It’s okay,” she replied softly, giving him a reassuring smile before he finally left the room. “I’ll go get a broom to clean up the mess,” the maid said, hurrying out after him. The moment the door shut, everything changed. My mom’s expression snapped. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she snarled, her voice low but furious. “Drop the act. We both know you’re lying.” I slowly straightened, wiping away the fake tears with the back of my hand. Then I rolled my eyes. “And so what if I’m acting?” I shot back.

  • BEG FOR ME STEPBROTHER    Chapter 5

Lisa POV I straightened slightly. “You’ll take an entrance exam at the end of the month. Once you pass, you’ll be admitted this year.” Columbia. So it’s really happening. “You’ll resume the following month,” he continued. “Everything has been handled.” Of course it has. Men like him don’t leave things to chance. I nodded slowly. “That’s… impressive.” But inside? My thoughts were racing. New school, new life, new game and now… A stepbrother I needed to avoid. I picked up my glass again, swirling the drink lightly as I stared down at it. When dinner finally ended, I placed my napkin neatly on the table and stood up. “Excuse me,” I said politely. “Of course,” Ramsey replied with a small smile. “Get some rest. It’s been a long day.” My mom just gave me a look, one of those silent warnings. Which meant I should behave but ignored it and turned, walking out of the dining room. I reached my door, pushed it open and stepped inside. Closing it behind me, I let out a
