(Dylan)

The champagne was cold, the lights were low, and the ballroom buzzed with the usual laughter of people pretending they liked each other. I gave my practiced smile to the investor from Milan seated next to me and nodded politely as he went on about luxury yachts and tax loopholes. I honestly didn't want to be here but I had no choice in these social matters.

Truthfully, I wasn’t even listening. Something was just off. I felt different and suddenly hot.

I quickly loosened the top button of my shirt and pulled slightly at my collar. It was warm in the room, too warm. My skin felt clammy, and a strange heat was crawling slowly up my spine. I only took a few sips of the champagne. Just a little. I barely drank at these events anymore.

I blinked hard and reached for the water glass. My throat was dry and my pulse was too fast. Something really wasn’t right. Then it hit me. Someone drugged me.

Instantly, I stormed through the ballroom, ignoring confused glances and murmurs. I couldn't bear to stay one more minute in there. Who the hell would drug me.

I hurried outside before I lost total control of myself and took the next available taxi. My driver was nowhere to be found. I just couldn't stick around to find out what happens next. I just needed to be alone.

“Please take me to the nearest hotel and hurry up please” I pleaded with the driver and he seemed to understand my urgency.

The next minute, we were speeding away to the next hotel we could find. I rolled the windows down. My vision was slightly blurred, but my mind was clear enough to drive.

I just needed to be somewhere safe and away from whoever could dare to drug me. I'll take care of it later.

About fifteen minutes later,we pulled into the underground parking of The Westfield Grand Hotel.

On a normal day, I wouldn't even bother being in this kind of hotel but I could care less right now.

I hurried in and booked a room urgently, ignoring the raging hotness in my body.

As I stepped into the elevator, I tugged my jacket off and wiped my forehead with the back of my hand. My breathing had steadied a little, but my muscles still felt hot and restless under my skin. Whatever this person slipped into my drink thankfully wasn't strong enough to knock me out, but it was trying to.

As the elevator climbed, I rubbed my temple and exhaled. I’d dealt with Catherine’s manipulations before, but tonight? Tonight, she crossed a line.

The elevator got to a stop and dinged open. I hurried out and checked my room number even though my vision was fuzzy. Room Number 17.

I looked up and located the room and instantly pushed the door open and headed in.

Inside, the room was dim and quiet, cool compared to the heat burning under my skin. I walked in, shoulders slumped, took off my jacket and dropped it on the chair. Then I kicked off my shoes, tugged off my shirt, and dropped down onto the bed with a long exhale.

The softness was exactly what I needed. Finally, I had some peace and quiet. I laid on my back, staring up at the ceiling. My head was pounding, and my body still felt off, like I was floating somewhere between sleep and fire.

Maybe just a few minutes. Just enough to let my body settle.

I didn’t even hear the bathroom door slowly open. I was half-asleep when I felt the shift in the air.

The faint scent of soap and something soft. Like coconut and vanilla. Then the dip of the mattress beside me.

I blinked, but I didn’t move.

A figure crawled into the bed. I saw her bare white skin in my peripheral vision. Wet hair and soft breathing.

She dropped onto the bed like she didn’t even know I was there. For a second, I thought I was dreaming. Was my imagination playing tricks with me?

Then she turned slightly… and froze.

I didn’t look at her face, I couldn't. I just stared at the ceiling. I thought I was imagining it.

Then her body tensed and I felt it in the air between us. That thick silence. That moment of delayed shock when you realize you’re not alone. Her breathing quickened, and I knew instantly.

This was all real. I was in a room with a strange woman. She didn’t know anyone else was in the room.

Shit. I clenched my jaw, not moving an inch. My thoughts were still foggy, but reality was slowly crawling back in. Something wasn't right. I could feel it now.

I had messed up real bad because of all the times to be alone with a woman , why now that I had absolutely no control of my body or my mind.

But neither of us said a word. We just laid there, her totally naked body under the sheets, me, shirtless and still too damn hot, stuck in the quiet and frozen in the moment almost like we were both waiting for the other person to say something or do something first.

I could feel her breath quickening. I could tell she felt the shift in air too but we were both too shocked to turn around.

I tried to steady my quickened heartbeat and I swear she could hear my heart beating heavily too.

  • BETRAYED BY FATE   You really don't remember?

“Who the fuck are you”?I screamed at the top of my voice, startling the sleeping person on the bed. His eyes shot open instantly, brows furrowed like he is equally as confused as I am. Then his gaze travelled to the blanket covering my body and the next minute, our eyes met. I can't deny that he's dangerously handsome and his early morning face sent a cold shiver running down my spine but I quickly brought myself back to reality. “Who the hell are you? What are you doing in my bed. Did you rape me?” I ask, terrified at that thought and I instinctively felt my hands clutching the blanket closer to myself. He shot up at my outburst, dragging a hand through his messy dark hair, looking more confused by the minute. The sheets slipped down his torso, revealing sculpted muscles, the kind I’d only ever seen on Instagram fitness pages. He looked like sin carved into human form and that made me panic even more. Who the hell is this man? “Rape? Are you being fr?” He bit back, looking offe

  • BETRAYED BY FATE   "Who the fuck are you?"

Without giving her any time to recover, I unzipped my trousers, releasing my painfully throbbing dick. The heat surged through me in a hundred folds but I still looked at her, asking for permission. “Are you sure Ella?” I asked and when she nodded in approval, half scared and anticipating, I slammed my full length into her in one full thrust. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she held onto me for dear life, whimpering and moaning loudly without a care in the world and I loved it. I loved the way her lips called my name in pleasure, not knowing whether to beg me to stop or continue. I was going crazy. This woman was driving me crazy. I could feel her clench her insides at the sudden intrusion and it took me all the self control I could muster from my whole ancestors to not release in a single thrust. “Fuck Ella… you're doing so good… I whispered raggedly in her ears as her whimpers filled my senses. I started slow but with each thrust deeper and harder than the last and

  • BETRAYED BY FATE   A night of passion

(Dylan's POV)At that moment, all I could smell was her, She smelt like vanilla and that smell intoxicated my senses. I finally turned to look at her and those brown eyes spoke to me. She looked like she was feeling exactly how I felt. Like her body was betraying her the same way mine was betraying me. Her eyes spoke of her confusion to me At this point i could already feel my dick throbbing in my pants, begging to be let out. How much drugs exactly did they add in the drink for me to lose control like this? It felt like I was hanging on by a thin thread waiting to snap at the slightest touch. We stared at each other and nobody said a word. I could tell she was flustered and shocked to see me but she didn't seem bothered by my presence. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever set my eyes on. Her dark long hair was well spread over the pillows and her lips parted innocently. I wanted my name on this stranger's lips but I also didn't want to scare her away. I felt it. We were bot

  • BETRAYED BY FATE   The anonymous message

I left my apartment door and hailed a taxi to the hotel. I didn't even have anything to pose at this point. Perhaps I'll meet the anonymous person who saved me from marrying my worst enemy.“ What more do I have to lose?” I asked myself as I stepped into the tall building. I collected the room key from the receptionist and headed into the elevator. The elevator door opened, but I barely noticed. My feet moved on their own as I stepped inside the elevator. I pressed the button for the second floor, then leaned back against the wall, staring at nothing.Everything felt quiet and loud at the same time. My chest ached like someone had punched me from the inside. My reflection in the mirrored elevator walls was almost unrecognizable, red, puffy eyes, makeup streaked across my cheeks, lips trembling even though I wasn’t crying anymore. I just couldn't. I already changed into an oversized hoodie I looked like someone who had just lost everything. And I had. When the elevator reached my f

  • BETRAYED BY FATE   The betrayal

The smell of Taylor's perfume wafted through my nostrils as I opened the door of the hotel room Tristan and I booked for after our wedding in an hour. I got an anonymous text from a private number reading “hurry up to Royal Gardens hotel in twenty minutes or you'll regret it forever” and a video note of Taylor and Tristan heading into the hotel together after I had looked everywhere for my fiance and my chief bridesmaid and called repeatedly. I opened the door to the hotel and that was when I heard strange noises coming from the inner section of the hotel room. Muffled moans, then a low laugh. The rhythmic creak of the bedframe that didn’t belong to anyone who was sleeping. My heart stalled and I froze mid-step. My grip tightened around my phone until my knuckles turned white.No. It can't be. I took cautious, almost reluctant steps closer. My breath shallow, and my mind trying to explain it away.Maybe it's the TV. A dream. Maybe he was sick. Maybe they're playing or joking aro
