Damion’s POV

The sound of dripping water echoed through the chamber ... slow, rhythmic, like the heartbeat of the Underworld itself.

Above the black marble table, silver torches burned with crimson flames, their light twisting and stretching across the curved stone walls. The scent of fresh blood and burnt incense filled the air.

My council ... the High Blood ...sat before me. Twelve of them.

Each cloaked in the same midnight hue, faces pale as the moon, eyes glowing faintly red in the half-dark.

I leaned back in my obsidian throne, fingers tapping lightly on the armrest. The silence between us was thick.... deliberate. I let them wait. Fear sharpens loyalty better than words ever could.

When I finally spoke, my voice rolled through the hall like thunder wrapped in velvet.

“The Lunar Eclipse will happen in one year.”

Every head in the chamber lifted. Eyes flashed, fangs glinted. Whispers stirred like restless shadows.

“Yes,” I continued, my tone colder now. “And before any of you start trembling ... I’m aware that this means the werewolves will soon begin their sacred preparations. The Alpha of Alphas will be forced to bond with his Luna.”

A murmur of disgust moved through the room.

“Do they know who she is yet, my Lord?” one of the council ....a woman asked ... Lady Aveline, sharp and elegant as ever.

I smiled faintly. “Not yet. We have to find her.”

That silenced them. All twelve leaned in slightly.

“A lady.... A werewolf ,” I said. “He's searching , we have to search too. His council… foolish as they are… have forced another woman into that seat. A counterfeit Luna. It is not her, because they haven't bonded yet.”

“So the Alpha hasn’t bonded yet?” asked one of my generals, his tone eager.

“No,” I said, my voice a low rumble. “And that is their greatest weakness.”

For a moment, the only sound was the flicker of the crimson torches.

“They think their fate is written in the moon,” I said, my tone darkening. “They think prophecy will save them. But prophecies don’t save anyone ... only power does. And ours has been buried long enough.”

I stood slowly, the heavy black robe whispering against the stone floor. The scent of iron followed as I moved.

“While the werewolves bathe under moonlight and howl at their gods and think they have established in the human realm, we have built empires, just like them .... beneath the cities they sleep in. We also own banks like them , infiltrated their hospitals, infiltrated their governments.”

A small smile curved my lips. “Even their entertainment.”

A few of them chuckled ... low, dangerous.

“But now,” I said, raising my hand slightly, “it is time to step into the light.”

At that, the whispers stopped again. Confusion flickered across some faces.

Lord Nareth, the oldest of them, frowned deeply. “You mean....the daylight, my Lord? That is death to our kind.”

“Was,” I corrected softly.

Then I reached under the table and brought out a small crystal vial ... black as ink, yet shimmering faintly with silver veins that pulsed like veins of life.

The vampires leaned forward as one, drawn by its presence. The liquid inside glowed faintly .... a slow heartbeat of light.

“This,” I said, lifting it for them to see, “is the work of centuries. The witch we kept locked beneath the Crimson Catacombs has finally completed it.”

Aveline’s eyes widened. “You mean… the Solar Elixir?”

I nodded once.

Gasps filled the air.

“She succeeded?” another hissed. “It’s real?”

“As real as the blood in your veins,” I said. “One drop, and we walk in the sun. Ten hours of immunity. No burn. No decay. No weakness.”

I paused, letting the magnitude of it settle.

“With this,” I continued, “our world expands. Our reach doubles. The night will no longer hide us. We will walk among the humans, not as hunters from shadows, but as their kings.”

I looked at each of them in turn ....every eye fixed on me, every throat dry with hunger.

“But hear me,” I said softly, my tone sharp as a blade. “We do not feast like animals. We blend. We infiltrate. We build... looking for informations about the Luna.”

I walked slowly around the table, trailing my fingers across the cold marble.

“On earth, our night establishments thrive... clubs, companies, underground markets ... all ours. But soon, we begin day establishments. Businesses. Corporations. Education. Hospitals. We become part of their daylight. The humans will worship us without knowing it.”

I smiled faintly. “And when the time comes ... we feed again.”

Several of them bowed their heads slightly, reverent.

“Your Highness,” Lord Nareth said, cautious now. “And the Luna? What happens when the Alpha finds her?”

I turned to him, eyes narrowing slightly.

“Then we find her first.”

A silence deeper than before filled the room.

“She carries the key to the Lunar Eclipse,” I continued. “Her blood will be strong enough to trigger the light barrier if she bonds with him. But if she doesn’t… if she’s taken before that .... the moon will rise dark. The barrier will fail. And our kind will reign again.”

I set the vial back on the table. Its faint silver glow reflected across every pale face in the chamber.

“I want our spies in every human city. Every pack border. Every werewolf territory. Watch the Alpha’s circle, watch the council, watch the general-girl , the council try to make Luna but know this: she is not the one. The real Luna is still out there. The one the Lunar God truly marked.”

Aveline nodded, her tone sharp. “And when we find her?”

“Bring her to me,” I said softly. “Alive.”

My voice dropped lower, colder. “I want to see what kind of light can make the Alpha kneel.”

The vampires murmured their assent. The sound was like silk tearing in the dark.

I turned to my right-hand man ....Valen, tall, with eyes as red as a dying ember. “Prepare the first batch of the Solar Elixir. Begin the trials at dawn. I want my elite to walk among men within the week.”

He bowed deeply. “Yes, my Lord.”

As I sat back on my throne, I could feel the ancient power of our blood humming through the chamber ...the hunger, the promise, the centuries of patience now boiling into action.

The time for hiding in crypts and shadows was over.

The night had ruled long enough.

Now, the day would bow too.

I lifted my goblet ... filled with thick, dark blood drawn from a captured hunter ... and raised it high.

“To the new dawn,” I said.

“To the new dawn!” they answered in one voice, deep and hungry.

The flames on the torches flared brighter, burning crimson-gold ... light and darkness twisting together.

As the echoes faded, I looked again at the vial ...that little heartbeat of silver in the black.

A witch’s creation.

A god’s eclipse.

A war waiting to happen.

And I smiled to myself.

“Let the wolves howl,” I whispered.

“They still don’t know the night never ends.

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   98. Forever And Always.

Rose POV The excitement of the moment didn’t end there. The next week. My mother, Caleb, and Matthew guided us to the wedding hall...a grand place, decorated with the blend of wolf tradition and human elegance. Silver crescents and soft lights hung overhead. The air vibrated with energy, and I could feel the other wolves present, acknowledging us, ready to celebrate. Adrian squeezed my hand, and I felt his power radiate through me. I knew I could trust him completely, not just with my life, but with my heart. The seer was there too, calm ,her eyes softening as she saw the bond between us. She had guided us through so much, and now she was witness to our choice, our union. The ceremony began. Adrian and I stepped forward, our paws and hands entwined, facing each other fully. We looked into each other’s eyes...the wolf and the half-wolf, the alpha and the Luna...and we spoke our vows. Not just words, but promises born from hardship, survival, love, and mutual respect. "I pro

Rose POV When I opened my eyes, all I saw was… him. ..Adrian. His face hovered above mine, relief shining in his eyes, mixed with the sharp intensity of an alpha who had feared the worst. “You’re awake,” he said softly, his hand brushing my hair back. His voice...calm, warm, unwavering...was a lifeline. I blinked slowly, trying to take in the scene. The streets were gone. The chaos was gone. The smell of blood and fire faded. And yet… I could feel the lingering heat of the light I had released, the echoes of power rippling inside me. “Did… did we win?” I asked, my voice hoarse, barely audible. Adrian’s eyes softened. “Yes. You… we won. But you’ve been asleep for two weeks.” “Two… weeks?” My chest tightened. My mind spun. Two weeks gone in a flash? “Yes,” he said, his thumb brushing my cheek. “The vampires are defeated. Some humans were lost, yes… but mostly, they were protected. And the rest… humans don’t know anything. The government has been guided. They think it wa

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   96. The Light Of The Luna.

Rose POV Everything around me was chaos. I could feel it vibrating through the ground beneath me, in the air around me, in my chest. Wolves were falling. Humans were screaming. Vampires… their eyes burned with red fire, teeth bared, claws slashing anything that moved. I could hear the crack of bones, the tearing of flesh, the roar of alpha wolves trying to hold back the tide. I wanted to run, but my legs felt heavy. My heart pounded so fast I thought it might burst. And all I could think was… I am the Luna. I am the bridge between the worlds. And yet… I can’t save anyone. I can’t stop this. Fear gripped me. The weight of everyone depending on me… it was suffocating. Then Kate landed me a blow...I fell. And then, almost instinctively, I focused. I closed my eyes. I felt the pull of something deep inside me, something I had barely understood until now : my connection to the spiritual realm, to the Luna power I had carried all along. I whispered into the chaos: "Luna spirit

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   95. The Red Night.

Adrian POV The sky turned red. Not slowly. Not gently. One moment the night was dark like any other night, and the next moment the moon changed. A deep red light spread across the sky, painting the world in a strange color. The Blood Moon had come. Humans looked up in curiosity. News channels spoke calmly, calling it a rare natural event. Scientists explained it. People took pictures. Some even celebrated it. They didn’t know. They didn’t know what it meant. They didn’t know that this night decided the fate of their world. All the wolves gathered. Not in the human world. But in the spiritual realm. The air there felt heavy. Sacred. Powerful. Every wolf stood in their true form. No lies. No hiding. Just strength. Just instinct. Just spirit. Rose stood beside me. Caleb stood behind us. The strongest wolves from all over the world surrounded us. Alphas. Leaders. Warriors. Everyone was ready. The Seer had prepared the chants. Rose and I stepped forward together. O

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   94. Before The Blood Moon.

Rose POV I never imagined my life would turn into this. A few weeks ago, I was just a normal girl. I worried about work, traffic, bills, and simple things. Now, I stood in the middle of a large training field, surrounded by powerful wolves, learning how to survive a world I didn’t even know existed years ago. The morning air was cool, but my body was warm from movement. “Again,” Caleb said. I exhaled slowly and adjusted my stance. Adrian stood a few steps away from me, watching carefully. Matthew stood beside him, his arms folded, his eyes sharp and observant. I moved forward and attacked. Caleb blocked easily. Too easily. Before I could recover my balance, he tapped my shoulder lightly. “If that was a real fight,” he said calmly, “you’d be on the ground already.” I groaned. “I know.” Matthew stepped forward. “You’re thinking too much,” he said. “Stop trying to fight perfectly. Just react.” I nodded. I was tired. But I didn’t want to stop. Because this wasn’t practi

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   93. The Bond Accepted.

Adrian POV The night felt different. Heavy. Sacred. Alive. The full moon hung high in the sky, brighter than I had ever seen it. Its silver light spread across the sacred grounds like a blessing from the Moon Goddess herself. Wolves had gathered from everywhere. Alphas. Betas. Leaders. Elders. The strongest wolves across territories stood in silence around the shrine. No one spoke loudly. No one moved unnecessarily. Everyone understood what tonight meant. This ritual would decide everything. My fate. Her fate. Our future. I stood at the front of the shrine, my hands relaxed at my sides, but inside me, power moved restlessly. It had been unstable since the last ritual failed. My body had recovered, but my spirit still carried the strain. Beside me stood Rose. She looked nervous. Her fingers kept moving slightly, like she was trying to stay calm. Her breathing was slow but not steady. I glanced at her. She met my eyes. There was fear there. But there was also tru
