AUTHOR’S POV

Luciano’s lips trailed lower, his breath warm against Adeline’s skin as he took his time exploring her, savoring every reaction, every shiver that ran through her body.

His hands, firm yet gentle, slid down her sides, his fingertips grazing her soft skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake.

Adeline’s breathing hitched as he pressed an open-mouthed kiss to the inside of her thigh, the sensation sending a jolt of pleasure through her.

Her fingers curled into the sheets, gripping them tightly as a soft whimper escaped her lips. Luciano’s dark eyes flicked up, watching her with a smirk, clearly enjoying the effect he had on her.

“You’re trembling,” he murmured, his voice deep, laced with satisfaction.

Adeline swallowed hard, her chest rising and falling rapidly.

“Luciano…” she whispered, her voice breathless, filled with anticipation.

He hummed against her skin, the vibration making her arch slightly. His hands pressed down on her th

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The night was still, wrapped in the quiet hum of their steady breaths. The flickering candlelight cast soft shadows on the walls, painting their intertwined bodies in a golden glow. The sheets were tangled, barely covering them, and the air carried the lingering warmth of their passion. Yet, in this moment, it wasn’t hunger or desperation that filled Luciano’s chest—it was something far deeper, something heavier. Adeline laid curled up, her bare back facing him, the duvet draped loosely around her waist, leaving the smooth expanse of her spine exposed to his gaze. She looked fragile like this, peaceful yet untouchably distant, her breath slow and steady, her body barely moving except for the slight rise and fall of her shoulders. Luciano propped himself up on one elbow, his dark eyes drinking in every detail—the way her hair spilled over the pillow, a few strands brushing against her cheek, the curve of her shoulder, the delicate dip of her lowe

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Feeling Her

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The golden morning light filtered through the sheer curtains, casting soft shadows across the bedroom. The air was thick with the remnants of last night—the faint scent of him lingering on the sheets, the warmth still trapped in the bed. Adeline sat there, her legs tucked under her, the fabric of his oversized shirt draping loosely over her petite frame. It was far too big for her, the sleeves slipping past her wrists, the collar falling slightly off one shoulder, exposing a hint of bare skin. She let out a soft yawn, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand, still groggy from sleep. The bed beneath her was messy, the pillows indented from where they had laid, the blankets bunched up from their restless movements during the night. Her body ached in the best way possible, reminding her of everything that had transpired between them just hours ago. The sound of the bedroom door creaking open made her freeze. Luciano stepped inside, his t

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Getting Her Pregnant

. . . AUTHOR’S POV Adeline’s entire body trembled as Luciano’s hands traced over her bare skin, his touch sending waves of fire through her veins. She wasn’t sure when or how she had ended up laid out on the kitchen counter, but at this point, she couldn’t bring herself to care. Her mind was hazy, her breath coming in uneven gasps as he teased her, his fingers barely skimming the sensitive skin of her thigh before retreating, leaving her desperate for more. Then, his lips followed. Soft at first, a mere whisper of warmth against her skin, but then his tongue flicked out, dragging in a slow, deliberate motion that had her arching involuntarily. The unexpected sensation tore a moan from her lips—loud, shameless. Her own voice startled her. Adeline’s eyes widened in horror as the sound echoed in the quiet space, her pulse hammering against her ribs. She slapped a hand over her mouth, cheeks burning as if she could somehow take it back. But it was too late.

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    His Fear

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The night was quiet, the only sound in the dimly lit bedroom was the slow, steady rhythm of Adeline’s breathing. She laid nestled in his arms, her soft body curled into him, utterly spent. Her head rested against his chest, her delicate fingers clutching at his skin even in sleep, as if she knew he was the only thing keeping her safe. Luciano held her close, his large hand splayed over the bare curve of her back, fingertips tracing slow, idle patterns against her skin. She was warm, his, and so completely unaware of the darkness lurking outside this bed. And that’s how he wanted it. His other hand rested on his phone, his sharp eyes scanning the PDF Christian had sent him. It was a detailed report on Charles—his movements, his associates, his recent business dealings. Every new paragraph made Luciano’s expression darken, his brows furrowing in cold calculation. He had expected Charles to make a move eventually, but what unsettled him

. . . AUTHOR’S POV Adeline stirred, warmth cocooning her as she slowly blinked awake. The soft sheets clung to her bare skin, the lingering scent of him still embedded in them, wrapping around her like a second embrace. She exhaled quietly, stretching slightly before her gaze drifted toward the figure standing by the dresser. Luciano. He had just stepped out of the shower, his damp hair slicked back, water droplets clinging to the sharp angles of his face. Even freshly showered, he carried an edge of danger, his presence filling the room with something dark and possessive. He was already dressed—black tailored slacks, a crisp white button-down, the top two buttons left undone, exposing the hint of a tanned, sculpted chest. His sleeves were rolled up to his forearms, revealing strong, veined hands as he adjusted the expensive watch on his wrist. Adeline watched him, too entranced to look away. The way he moved—slow, controlled, precise—made her stomach tigh

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    All Night

. . . AUTHOR’S POV Luciano’s lips crashed against Adeline’s with raw hunger, his grip firm as he pulled her against him, molding her body to his. He kissed her like a man who had been starving for too long, like a man desperate to consume her, to remind her exactly who she belonged to. She melted into him, her fingers threading through his thick, dark hair, gripping it tightly as she kissed him back with everything she had. Her body was on fire, every nerve alive, every part of her attuned to him, to the way his hands roamed over her, mapping every inch of her skin like he was committing her to memory. Luciano growled low in his throat, shifting suddenly. Before she could even process what was happening, he grabbed her waist and lifted her onto his lap as if she weighed nothing, as if she were made of air. A soft gasp left her lips, her knees sinking into the plush mattress on either side of his thighs. She could feel his heat, his strength, the solid wall

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    A Difficult Path

. . . AUTHOR’S POV Adeline stepped inside the penthouse, the familiar scent of expensive leather and fine whiskey lingering in the air. The space was dimly lit, its modern, luxurious interior bathed in golden hues from the chandelier hanging above. Despite its elegance, there was something about this place that always felt cold, as if warmth never truly belonged here. She had barely taken a step forward when a blur of movement rushed toward her. “Adeline!” Before she could react, strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her into a tight embrace. Vladimir. His grip was firm, his breathing heavy as if he had been waiting for this moment for far too long. Adeline sighed softly, allowing herself to relax for a brief second. Despite everything—the bloodshed, the betrayal, the never-ending war—he was still her brother whom she needed to protect at any cost. “Where the hell have you been?” he demanded, his voice rough with concern, pulling back just enough to

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Beginning Of Something Big

. . . AUTHOR’S POV Adeline sat on the plush velvet couch, her legs crossed at the knee, fingers drumming rhythmically against her thigh. The dim glow of the overhead chandelier cast long, eerie shadows across the sleek black marble floors, the soft hum of the city beyond the tall windows the only sound in the silence between them. Across from her, Charles leaned back in his chair, one arm draped lazily over the armrest, a glass of whiskey in his other hand. He swirled the amber liquid absently, his sharp gaze never leaving her face. “Tell me, Adeline,” he began, his voice smooth, measured, dripping with mock curiosity. “Why are you still with Luciano, knowing everything that’s happening?” Adeline exhaled, shifting slightly in her seat, before rolling her eyes in pure exasperation. “Charles,” she said, voice edged with irritation. “Enough.” Charles raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by her response, but she wasn’t finished. “I know,” she continued, her v

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Happy Mornings

. . . AUTHORS’S POV The first light of dawn crept through the gauzy curtains of their bedroom, painting the walls in soft hues of gold and rose. The air was cool, a gentle spring breeze slipping through the cracked window, carrying the faint scent of blooming jasmine from the garden below. The world outside was just waking, but inside, time seemed to pause, wrapped in the quiet intimacy of Luciano and Adeline’s shared sanctuary. Adeline stirred beneath the tangled sheets, her dark hair spilling across the pillow like ink on parchment. Her skin glowed faintly in the morning light, still warm from sleep, and she stretched lazily, a soft hum escaping her lips. She blinked her eyes open, catching sight of Luciano beside her—propped up on one elbow, his gaze already fixed on her with an intensity that made her heart flutter. His dark hair was tousled, his bare chest rising and falling steadily, and a slow, mischievous smile played on his lips. “Morning, beautiful

. . . AUTHORS’S POV The grand cathedral was awash with golden light streaming through the stained-glass windows, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the polished stone floors. Rows of pews were filled with family and friends, their faces beaming with anticipation and joy. The air was thick with the scent of fresh lilies and roses, arranged in lavish bouquets that lined the aisle. At the heart of it all stood Adeline, a vision of breathtaking beauty, though her heart raced with a nervous flutter she couldn’t quite tame. Her wedding gown was a masterpiece—ivory silk cascading over her frame in delicate layers, the bodice adorned with intricate lace that shimmered faintly in the light. A long, gossamer veil trailed behind her, catching the soft breeze that slipped through the open doors. Her dark hair was swept up elegantly, adorned with tiny pearls that glinted like stars. She was stunning, radiant, yet her hands trembled slightly as s

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Returning Happiness

. . . AUTHOR’S POV “Oh my God, Adeline, I knew there was something going on between you two!” Eva nodded vigorously, her hands clasped together. “We all knew, honestly. The tension between you guys was so obvious!” Rose smirked as she leaned in. “And now look at you, pregnant with uncle Luciano’s child! This is huge.” Adeline, still overwhelmed, wiped at her tear-streaked face and tried to catch her breath. “You guys… this isn’t—” “It is happening,” Kiara interrupted with a knowing smile. “And you need to start accepting it.” Alessandra, watching the girls fuss over Adeline, smiled warmly before stepping forward. “Adeline, are you happy?” Her voice was gentle, yet firm. “Because that’s what matters most.” Adeline looked up, her teary eyes meeting Alessandra’s. She hesitated, emotions swirling inside her like a storm. Was she happy? Everything had happened so fast—too fast. She had barely even processed it. But when she thought about it

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Promise

The dining room had been filled with laughter and warmth just moments ago. Everyone was finally at peace, enjoying a rare moment of normalcy after the chaos that had ruled their lives for so long. But now, all of that had disappeared. Adeline gripped the edges of the sink, her breath coming in short, uneven gasps. Her stomach churned violently, and she barely managed to keep herself upright as another wave of nausea rolled over her. Her hands trembled as she wiped the corner of her mouth, her mind racing at an uncontrollable speed. Pregnant? The thought hit her like a bullet, making her knees weaken beneath her. It couldn’t be. Could it? The signs were all there—the constant fatigue, the sudden cravings, the unusual weight gain, the nausea. She had brushed them off, thinking it was stress or just her body adjusting after everything that had happened. But now… A warm, firm hand landed on her back. “Adeline,” Luciano’s voice was steady, but there was an u

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Blooming Once Again

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The evening air was crisp, wrapping around Adeline like an unwelcome reminder of the past. As she stepped out of the sleek black car, her heels clicking softly against the stone pavement, a sickening wave of nausea hit her like a tidal wave. The moment her feet touched the ground, her chest tightened. This place—this very ground—was where Leonardo had screamed his last breath, where Bianca’s body had burned. The memory of that night clawed at her mind, vivid and unforgiving. The scent of smoke and blood seemed to linger in the air, as if the earth itself had absorbed the sins of that night. Her throat constricted, and her stomach twisted violently. Eva, stepping out beside her, immediately noticed. “Are you okay?” she asked, her voice filled with concern. Adeline swallowed, forcing herself to nod. “Yeah. Just… memories.” Eva didn’t press but gently squeezed her hand. Ahead of them, Charles had already made his way inside, his pres

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Pregnant?

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The warm glow of the vanity lights cast a soft radiance over the room as Adeline applied the final touches of her makeup. She ran her hands down the smooth fabric of her short, form-fitting dress, appreciating how it accentuated her curves in just the right way. The deep color contrasted beautifully with her skin, making her look effortlessly elegant yet subtly seductive. Eva, standing by the mirror adjusting her earrings, turned to look at Adeline and let out an approving hum. “Damn, Adeline, you look stunning.” A small chuckle escaped Adeline’s lips as she twirled slightly, checking her reflection. “You think so?” Eva grinned. “Oh, I know so. If you weren’t my best friend, I’d probably be jealous.” Adeline smirked. “That’s what I like to hear.” Eva walked closer, giving her an exaggerated once-over. “Seriously, though. You’re glowing tonight. Did something happen?” Adeline scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Oh, please. I think i

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Healing

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The once chaotic mansion had settled into an eerie stillness. A week had passed since that fateful night—the night fire had swallowed their enemies whole. The night that had left them all scarred in ways they had yet to understand. Adeline had barely left her room. She laid curled up in bed, her body wrapped in the warmth of the blankets, but it wasn’t just the blankets that held her. Vladimir refused to let go. The sixteen-year-old clung to her like a lifeline, his arms wrapped tightly around her waist, his head resting against her shoulder as he slept. For the first time in what felt like forever, they had been able to sleep peacefully. No nightmares. No fear. No waking up to the sound of gunfire or the cries of the dying. But peace didn’t mean healing. The wounds were still there—fresh, raw, and bleeding beneath the surface. Luciano had kept his distance from them, knowing they needed time to breathe. He had taken control

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Fire And Blood

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The night was thick with the scent of blood and burning hatred. Leonardo laid merely breathing on the ground, broken beyond repair. His body twitched, spasming in pain, his breath ragged and uneven. Blood pooled beneath him, staining the dirt, soaking into his clothes. But even as his strength faded, his pride remained. Even now, he smirked through the agony. A twisted, delusional smile—one that dared them to do worse. Charles started laughing. A slow, mocking chuckle that sent a chill through the gathered crowd. The men of Luciano’s mafia stood with their heads hung low, not daring to interfere. The women—Alessandra, Angelina, Isabella, Aurora, Kiara, Rose—all watched in silence, their faces a mixture of horror and disbelief. This was not just a punishment. This was an execution. Luciano stood still, his dark eyes empty, watching his brother bleed out like it meant nothing. Adeline felt Eva tremble beside her, her grip tightening

  • BETWEEN US : BOUND TO HIM    Night Of Open Secrets

. . . AUTHOR’S POV The scent of blood, sweat, and expensive whiskey lingered, mixing with the heavy bass of the music that still vibrated faintly in the background. The moment had stretched so thin it felt like time itself had paused. Elena’s lifeless body laid on the floor, her once-beautiful face frozen in shock, blood seeping from the bullet wound on her forehead, staining the cold marble beneath her. But no one in the room seemed to mourn her. Charles had his gun raised, his hand steady, his face void of emotion. Leonardo stood unfazed, his lips curling into an amused smirk, his sharp eyes flicking between Charles and Luciano. Adeline stood rooted in place, her heart pounding painfully against her ribs. She had expected bloodshed tonight, but not like this—not this soon, this mercilessly. And then came the revelation. Leonardo’s voice, mocking and unbothered. “Will you kill your own brother for someone else?” A cold shiver raced down Adeline’s spi
