Grabbing a drink from a tray as it passed by him, Roman maneuvered through the crowd of bodies that were either grinding or rocking against each other to get to Rose.

It was an uneasy feeling; one of the reasons he hated public gatherings. There was always a mix of Cologne that was too harsh and strong, body odors and the conversations he felt were unnecessary.

Not that all the conversations were unnecessary, but some. People always wanted to know how you were doing, if you're a woman, the number of ladies in your harem and if you had any new additions. And there were those that just needed updates about your life.

All those weren't conversations that tripped him. He preferred to talk about things that mattered and were important.

"Sorry." He apologized to the lady he bumped into but she just smiled and winked at him invitingly.

Roman grinned back at her. It wasn't an acknowledgement of her enticing offer or anything, it was his way of saying he wasn't interested in her Nicely.
