"He must be mad at me." Emily said to Lauren the next day. "I swear I didn't mean to. I was in the shower, just like I told him. I must have decided to nap a little, which led to my sleeping off. Lauren, I was that tired."

"Surprisingly, he wasn't mad." Lauren said, succumbing on the bed beside Emily, "He objected when I volunteered to wake you. He said to let you sleep."

"Hmmn." Emily sighed. "He really did? He wasn't grumpy and all that?"

"I know what you think, Emily, but Roman isn't like that, especially when you get to know him." Lauren Said.

"I'm not even thinking, Lauren. I'm only feeling guilty. Imagine the manner in which I talked to him yesterday only to turn around and do the same thing he did to me yesterday and mine is worse!!"

Lauren laughed. "Is there something you're not telling me? Why would you feel bad? Don't tell me you spent only two days a few days with him and you're already smitten?"
