Bad Decision

The whole hall ran quiet, it seemed everything was over, until the door to the conference room pushed open, as  Elena walk in.

"You want evidence? Here it is?".

I fell my eyes downwards and noticed the documents she held in her hand ambling close to them.

The glitter on Leonardo face washed away, as he watched her veer closer still holding unto the documents.

" wha..what is this". He geeks at the documents Elena had, she smirked and return her attention to the press.

"Good evening everyone, apparently this press conference was scheduled without notice, but we thought it wise to finally bring an end to the lies that my husband has been hiding from the world". 

I watched as she brings out the paperwork and passed it over to the few of the board members there.

Leonardo ran a scared demeanor, he turns to his son and noticed the disgusted look he had on, repaying his attention to us.

The truth of what happened was revealed through those documents brought in by Elena, Jason shoots a weak smile after seeing that everything was going per his will.

He veers closer to fabian and slaps him in front of the press, Leonardo turned his eyes and closed his hands in anger geeking at him.

Abruptly, after Leonardo saw that his lies has gotten to be exposed, in a fit of rage he veers back and gave a signal to a man wearing a mask

(The gun fires out)...

Within the next few minutes, everyone at the hall ran for their lives,  I veered back and rushed out of the hall, when suddenly a hand pulls me back, "come with me?". Fabian nudged me away from the room, without the audience of anyone who feared for their lives.

"Leonardo! Where are you taking me to?" I dragged my feet, as he pushed me against my will.

When everything seemed to have calmed down, David veers back and noticed I was left behind.

"What is it, son?" Jason asked a tensed Chris who turns his eyes back to him and said, "Alexis isn't here!".

"What?" Keith geeked anxiously at them, he veers his back to leave when a call came through his phone, "hello! who is it?". Chris watched his brother shunned look.

He walks closer and turned his brother's attention to him, "what happened?".

He weaves out a deep breath before telling his brother the truth, "Alexis is in trouble! My father, has kidnapped her and he says I should your father to come to meet him at the place, everything started.".

"The place everything started?"

They Veered back and saw the startled look on Jason's face, after taking heed of their conversation.

"Do you know the place, father?" Chris asked intense mood.

"Yes, uncle, do you?"  Keith veers closer and asked as well.

"Hmm!" Jason shook his head affirming his words to them, " yes! I do! But why do this?" He asked trying to figure out the fabain game plan, ( tension runs wide before he continues his statement), "I have to go! Wait for me, and please take care of your mom!".

Chris watched his father, ambling away in a hurry, Keith turned his eyes to his brother, "what! Ain't we going to follow him?', he asked his brother, repaying his attention to him.

"Don't ask me twice, because I am not going to lose my dad the second time". (He runs after his father, as Alvin follows suit).

They trailed Jason and saw me tied to a chair, "hello my dear best friend, whom I killed and still going to kill and make sure, you never return".

I veered and saw Keith and his brother ambling in, Chris shoots a sign and asked not to draw attention to them, while Jason and his friend kept conversing.

Out of fear, Keith hide behind a Piller, Chris sneak past Leonardo, coming in my direction his luck ran out when fabian pointed a gun at his head.

"Hello! You seriously love taking risks don't you? Do you think, I wouldn't know that someone is behind me?". 

(He turns back Chris attention to him, still pointing their direction to him).

"Wow, you never seem to stop amazing me, ain't you satisfied with what you did, last time! Now you wanna add it all up?". The disgusted look on his face, Smurfs a weak smile on Leonardo face. He pulls Chris by his shirt and said, "leave from here, I don't want to kill you, because I have a score to settle with your father here" (he pushed him back).

"Then you can talk with me and let Tori and my son go!"

Jason's veers everyone attention to himself, fabian redirected the gun over to him, wearing a smile., He says " so tell me, shall we! Continue from where we stopped?". 

He kept on smiling non-stop, Chris veers back slowly and carefully untied my hands, abruptly the moment I jerked up from the chair I was being tied down, a gunshot was fired, we immediately turned our eyes open and saw fabian depleting to the floor.

"Urgh"

We lifted our head and saw Keith holding a gun in his hand, he quivered in fear, tossed the gun aside, and ran to me.

"Alexis! Are you okay?". He asked looming his eyes to see if I was wounded, I shoot my head wearing a weak smile, "no! I am fine" I said to him.

"Thank God! He veers his head and saw his father lying wounded on the ground, repaying his attention to us, "you guys can leave from here, I can take care of him!". 

"Really bro! No I cannot leave you and by the way, how did you gain access to a gun? You don't have a gun, or do you?". Chris curiosity got the better of him.

"I don't but I'll explain everything to you, as soon as I take care of my dad, so please, take Alexi's and your father away from here and I'll come back and meet you all!". Keith affirms his words again to us, "are you sure?" Chris asked once again but left after seeing the look on his brother's face.

(Our feet ambled away).....

Keith POV

Hello father, do you need help".

I turned to my father the second Alexis and brother left, the shocked expression on his face made me giggle, "what is it father? Were you shocked that everything we both planned changed so soon?".  I nudged for a reply, as he struggled to break his words to me.

"You...shot...your..own... father..what.. have..you..done.? Dad broke his words into segments, it pains me a little to see him this helpless but in all not so much, because I knew what I had to pass through being in his shadow and acting like the clueless perfect son for him, urgh! Not anymore, I think it's high time this story welcomes a villain.

"Well dad, you should know I ain't your little boy anymore, and yes! Before you say anything, I'll enjoy killing anyone who tried to get in my way from taking over the company, but firstly, I'll start with you".

( The gun fires out).
