A big day

The next morning. I walked over to Mrs. Anuradha's bedroom.

Since I couldn't speak with her last night, I chose to have the same conversation today.

After all, I do what to Know why she wishes to have a party for my family all of a sudden.

We met at the door of her bedroom.

She stared behind my back before facing me.

"Javelin, why are you here!",.

She said, grabbing me inside her bedroom...

"Tell me, something ma'am, what exactly do you achieve in having a party for my family?,"... I asked her.

"Don't you know!", Mrs. Anuradha looks away for a While before facing me......

The look on her face made me know the reason why she was doing this.

Karan's sister.

But the question is why?......

"Okay, I do know why, but tell me, what do you plan to gain from this party?,"... I held onto her hand as she tries to leave again.

She takes it away confronting me.

She says, "do not worry dear, everything will work according to my plan,". She smiles.

"What plan, at least tell me,". I said.

She disapproved. I won't, maybe not for now,".. she walked away from the bedroom.

I wanted to go after her.

But my phone ringing interrupted me.

I pulled up and Avanti asked me to come to meet her at the beauty parlor...

I wonder why?.

I picked up my pace, running to meet Avanti at the beauty parlor.

A lady walked inside and welcomed me.

"Tell me, who are you looking for?". The lady asked...

I looked around before facing her.

"Hi, I'm looking for!". I tried to speak when I heard Avanti's voice.

"Javelin,"? She shouted.

I bent my head down a little..a

Avanti seat along and said a little holding a hair dryer in her hand.

I left navigating in their direction.

"Hey, you called?" I grabbed a seat closer and sat down.

Avanti faced me, " tell me, I've been thinking about changing my hair color, can you help me?",. She takes out two hair dyes, "what color, would fit me?". She asked.

I stared at both the hair dye.

"I think you shouldn't change your hair color Avanti, I love the color black,". I smiled at the lady, " don't you think so too ma'am,". I said .....

She grows a smile too and shook her head...

"Yes, ma'am, the color black suits you,".

Avanti smiled.

"Okay, let's go with black,"

"Done deal,". I got up from the chair, chancing to leave.

"Hold on javelin,". She held my hand taking me back to her gaze.

"I need you to help me with something!"? She said.

As I turned over and faced her", tell me, what should I do?". I asked her.

Avanti looks at the lady dying her hair, " vendi, can you please leave me alone for a while,"!. She says.

The lady shook her head before facing me again.

"Javelin, I want you to help me, help my family,".... She Said as I stared at her...

What exactly does she want from me ?....

I was just about to speak up with Avanti when I heard my phone ring...

Abhishek was calling.

I walked away and picked up

"Hey, what's up?". I said through the phone.

Abhishek kept silent for a while before responding, "where are you, javelin?". He said, sounding worried.

I turned my back and caught Avanti dressing up her hair.

"I'm with Avanti, what is happening?". I said

"Nothing javelin, I thought you left," he laughed through the phone, "Never mind, please come back soon,".. he says and disconnected the call.

I put my phone away and came back to my seat with Avanti.

She sees me taking a seat next to her and said.

"Who called?".

"Abhishek, your brother,". I rested my back on the chair's head, smiling at her.

Avanti nods and looks away.

Hours later, we both came home together. At the mansion everyone was busy getting ready for the party tonight, even my parents were gifted some Indian attires to wear.

I met them both walk-in down the stairs, dressed in both their attires.

"What is happening?" I walked past Mrs. Anuradha who wouldn't stop smiling. She face me and said, "dear! Don't your parents look beautiful and handsome in our attire!"

She says and picks up another gift bag from the ground.

"Abhishek, take and hand this over to your wife!" She says without thinking.

"Wait! What did you say?" Immediately mom picks up, she questioned me, " wife, did she call you wife?" She said.

I gulped down a very hard spit.

What do I say to save myself?

"Ma'am, " Abhishek walks before she took mom's attention away from looking at me, and said, "my mom only said that because she has always wanted javelin, to become my wife,". He said, taking out his hands to me.

"Ma'am, do you wish that I get married to your daughter, I love her a lot,". Abhishek says, looking into my eyes.

I did right back freaking out of my mind.

What exactly is happening...

Avanti walks in.

"Yes Aunt, what do you say?". She said.

I faced her, Avanti gave me an odd look, she acts like something is running in her mind.

What are they all planning?

We were all waiting for the response from my parents, when Karan's sister gained our attention, by clapping her hand.

"Wow! Isn't this wonderful?"

She says in a mockable tone.

Abhishek turns to her.

"What is it, what do you want?", Abhishek gets Infuriated by her behavior, he takes out his leg to approach her direction, however, I grabbed onto his hand and made him stop.

"Don't go please,"... I said to him.

Abhishek might not have Said anything thanks to me, Mrs......... Anuradha walks up to her furiously and gave her a dirty slap.

We stared startled by her behavior.

Karan's sister takes up her head, and it meets her angry gaze.

"How dare you slap me,". She yelled, taking up her hand to hit mom.

Avanti rushed and held it from reaching her mom's face.

"Don't you dare, hit my mom, have you no shame,'.

She pushed her away.

Karan's sister laughed and immediately left in a hurry...
