Chapter Thirty Nine

Those words still echo in my mind . Those words, that changed my whole brain chemistry.

"Excuse me?!" I all but yell at that man. My grip visibly tightens on Drew's hands, based by his expressions. The whole framily looks flabbergasted .

"I know you don't know and don't trust me. And it's good and I admire that but please give me a chance to explain. Whole my life, I had thought that I lost you . I thought you were dead . But, now that I can see you with my own eyes," He shakes his head,"You look just like her. The resemblance is so uncanny. " The man says so genuinely that it makes me want to allow him but I wait .

"I am sorry for interpting, but how?" Drew asks him.

"I got this letter from a vampire, named Vincent or something. I probably have had met him once or twice times so I opened it and there he claimed that my daughter, my only child is alive and I got this hope and I wanted to see for myself." He says and looks at me with soft eyes and smiles.

Drew tenses when he hears
