CHAPTER 4
In a dimly lit study in the palace, Ethan stood beside a desk, as he paced continuously. He raised his hand up, wiping the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand. He was troubled. So troubled at the Lycan Twins arrival. Why do they have to come ruin everything? He had been planning this for months! Months, until it finally worked out. Surely, those twins wouldn't jeopardize his plans? Would they? Surely they wouldn't interfere in his business this way....Alycia had committed a crime, and she needed to face the punishment, come what may! As much as he worried, he couldn't help but wonder why they had taken her. What gave them the fucking right to lay a hand on her? Ethan was angry and confused. Angry because they stopped him from taking her out of the way. Confused, because he had absolutely no idea what they were planning, or had in mind. Alycia was his. His to ruin and His to do as pleases. “You have to relax.." Soft warm hands held him from the back, cutting off his thoughts, “You have been standing at the same spot for hours, Ethan. I can literally feel the rage emanating from you.” He slowly turned, and met her eyes. Light brown eyes stared back at him worriedly. He ran a hand in his hair, his breath coming out in shaky gasps. His eyes were frantic, darting at the door every second, “I can not help but worry, Maya. We are talking about the Lycan Twins here! They have a very strong hold over this pack, even when your parents were alive. I can't let them ruin what we have planned, Maya. I can't!” Maya heaved a sigh. The mention of her parents caused a dark shadow pass over her eyes. Deep within her, she felt bad for what they had done. But they deserved it. Her parents always doted on Alycia so much. Paid her so much attention, and made her,(Maya), feel like an outcast. She felt absolutely no remorse for her actions. Growing up, she had always wanted to be Luna. She had always wanted to learn the stuffs Alycia was granted. She always wanted more. More than she was allowed to. But she was just the younger sister, and to them, they were doing her a favor shielding her from all of those. Her plan began when she found her mate, Ethan, who was supposedly mated to Alycia. A chuckle escaped her lips as she recalled how Alycia had fell into her plans so easily. She saw herself so much in him. She saw that hungry glint in his eyes. Maya was a conniving lady. She was greedy, and wants so much more for herself. She believed that the world didn't treat her fairly, but she also believed so much in the fact that she could definitely rewrite her fate. They had come this far, yes, she was worried about the Lycan Twins appearance. She waited to see what exactly they wanted, and then they could decide how to dance to the tune. “One step at a time. Relax," she said in a reassuring tone, and wrapped a hand over his neck. Ethan opened his mouth to say something. But closed it right back. The truth was, he was a bit scared. He was scared of Alycia making a comeback through the help of the twins. He didn't tell Maya that he had been having nightmares of her, which was why he was so tensed up and couldn't relax. Suddenly, the door burst open, slamming against the wall with so much force, causing Ethan's eyes to widen in shock. The twins stepped into the room. King Lucien and Rowan. Their overbearing presence filled the air, causing it to become chilly. And then, the twins moved a little to the side, and Alycia slowly stepped in their middle. Ethan's eye widened for a split second, as he stared at the three standing before him. He felt his heart rate flutter as he stared into Alycia's eyes. His fingers dug into his palms, as he seethed inwardly. “My Lords," he bowed slightly at them. Maya on the other hand, had her jaw dropped in astonishment. She didn't get to see the twins up close earlier, but nothing could have expected her for the sight before her. Her knees almost gave out at the commanding presence they instilled, but goodness gracious, they were beautiful! Her mouth opened and closed, but when her gaze settled on Alycia standing in their middle, a sour hateful look clouded her face. Her eyes trailed down her body. Alycia looked more like her self. She was no longer in the tattered dress from earlier, she was draped in a simple beige colored dress, which went down a little above her knee. Something in her gaze made her shiver, but she clenched her fists, composing herself to see what was about to happen. But then, a single glare from the twins made her come to her senses and with a stiff bow, and a murmured excuse, Maya fled the room, her heart pounding in her rib cage.Chapter 95: I’m Here"I'm here, my love," Ravenna said softly.Lucien's hands tightened around her. He buried his face in her neck, breathing her in. Taking in her scent. His heart wouldn’t stop pounding. His hands were still shaking. It was surreal. His heart was beating too fast, his mind was unable to catch on quicker but he knew she was here. She held him, arms wrapped tightly around his body like she never wanted to let go. And he didn’t want to move either. But eventually, slowly, he pulled back, needing to see her face. His trembling hands came up to cradle her face. He stared deeply into her eyes, "Ravenna," he muttered, his voice breaking. Her lips curved in a small, soft smile. "You’re a mess," she whispered. "How did you become this way?"He almost laughed. Almost. But it came out more like a breath."Since you... left," he said, his voice low, but rough. Her eyes watered. No doubt she could feel it too. His pain. His guilt. His regret.Without thinking, Lucien pulled her
Chapter 94 Lucien had barely moved since she said it. I saw something. Those words had nearly knocked the air out of his lungs. The color had drained from his face before he even realized it. He wasn’t sure if Alycia noticed—he hoped she didn’t. But Rowen had. His brother’s glance was sharp, a little too knowing. He didn’t say anything though. He didn’t have to. Lucien had known the moment was coming. He just didn’t expect it to come so soon. And now… it was real. She was remembering. The way her voice had gone soft. That faraway daze in her eyes. The way her body had stiffened—like she was caught between two versions of herself. It was exactly as Rowen said it would happen. The sorceress had told them. Lucien had scoffed then. Denied it even to himself. He’d never truly prepared. Not for this. Not to face Ravenna. It had been easy—almost comforting—to keep Alycia simply as Alycia. This stubborn, fiery, beautiful girl who challenged him, hated him, wanted him, sof
Chapter 93Alycia’s body froze. Her head felt like it was caving in—sharp pressure between her eyes, like someone was trying to reach inside and tear something out.She pressed her palms to her temples, squeezing her eyes shut. “Ah—shit,” she whispered. “My head… it hurts. So bad…”She felt the bed dip beside her. Rowen. His voice was urgent, close. “Alycia—hey, hey. Look at me. What’s wrong?”“I don’t know,” she whispered. “It just… started.”Another weight sank down beside her. She didn’t have to open her eyes to know it was Lucien.“Is it a migraine?” he asked, his voice tight. “You’ve never had this before, right?”She tried to respond, but all that came out was a gasp.Because suddenly—she wasn’t just hurting. She was seeing.Images flashed behind her eyes like a storm. Distant and close, blurred and sharp all at once.A golden throne. A woman screaming. Blood trickling into a silver bowl. Her own hand—no, not hers but familiar—clutched tightly by someone. A man. But she couldn’t
Chapter 92Just as Alycia was about to swing her legs off the bed, she felt it.Rowen’s warm breath brushing between her thighs. Then his nose buried deep, inhaling her like a damn drug. Her whole body froze. “Rowen,” she gasped, her voice shaky. “This is not the time for that.”But even she could hear the way her voice betrayed her. Weak and breathless. Like she wanted him to keep going. He groaned. “I know,” he murmured, not moving an inch. “But you just smell so good. I swear, Alycia, I could bury my face in your pussy all damn day.”Her fingers slipped into his hair without even thinking, fisting the soft strands and tugging gently. “There’ll be time for that later,” she managed to say, her voice still not firm enough. “Right now… we need to face reality.”There was a lot they need to do, and finding Pearl was at the fore front. Lucien tensed beside her and she noticed immediately. He was too quiet. She turned to him. “What’s wrong?”He didn’t answer right away. He just sighed. He
Chapter 91Alycia woke up, spent. Her fingers buried in Lucien's hair, with his mouth latched on one of her nipples. Her eyes trailed down and there, was Rowen, who had his hair framed over his face, as he rested between her legs.A sudden movement of her body caused Lucien's mouth to latch tightly on her nipple, like he knew she was leaving. So she stayed put.Her gaze drifted to the window, as thoughts filled her head. They need to talk. That much was certain. A lot needed to be settled. A lot needs to be done as soon as possible. She also needed to check on the girls. Whatever reasons the twins might have for keeping them here, they definitely do not deserve to be cut off from their pack that way. They have loved ones who might have given up on them, or who might be waiting with hopes that they might miraculously return one day. And she'd want nothing but to give them that. She could recall how overwhelmed she'd felt when she thought Pearl was missing few months back, and was shoc
💥 Chapter 88: "Wreck Me" Alycia could hardly breath. It felt like she was suffocating, but it wasn't the case. They were just... everywhere. Lucien's hands gripped her waist, holding her to him, like she was something fragile, and then slamming into her. She could feel Rowen behind her. His fingers now tangled in her hair, pulling, yanking and owning her. His cock still buried in her ass, stretching her wide for him. Alycia has no idea how she was able to accommodate him there. At the moment, their rhythm had become frantic. She could very well tell there was something in the air...she felt it the moment Rowen entered, which was why she didn't speak. But let them take her. Let them use her as they please. For now. Lucien's voice broke the silence first. Low and guttural. Almost unrecognizable. "You want to be ours, love? Then take us both. All of it." A sob ripped out her, and then she was moaning at the same time, lips parted as Rowen thrusted into her again, harder this time.
