Lucinda Orlok.
"Come on Lucinda, wait for me!!" Rebekah scoffed as she hurriedly packed up her luggage.
Lucinda was super excited that she would be returning to San Francisco finally. Five years ago she was among the ascendants sent to North Carolina to go secure its regional secret house there and complete highschool like every mortal.
"Lucinda??" Rebekah's voice echoed in a strained manner.
Lucinda was super excited as they were finally returning to San Francisco.
She was a vampire-werewolf hybrid. Her father Viktor was a vampire who had an illegitimate affair with her mother, Elena who was a prisoner in his coven, the Immortal Fangs.
All Lucinda could remember was when their coven was attacked by a werewolf pack and her father in order to save them, he had conjured, using black magic to transport she and her mother back to the human world but before that he had given her a paper that had the address of the secret keeper.
Few months later, her mother had died. She was severely injured and she wasn't responding to treatments.
What they do say happened to be completely true. Through blood they were mated and joined together and they couldn't live apart. She had numerous nightmares or should I say love-mares.
Lucinda could read through her. That was one of the odd things she had inherited from her late father. He practiced black magic as well which made him able to travel far into someone's mind and be part of their mind.
Ever since her death, Madamé Elisabeta had taken in Lucinda as her own daughter due to the closeness she had with Lucinda's father while he was still alive.
Lucinda lived her life like a full breed vampire. She grew to love the vampires because she grew up among vampires only.
"You better hurry fast enough because I can't afford to miss my flight!!" She scoffed as she wore a brisk smile.
"Oh spare me that, Lucinda!!" Rebekah sneered. "I know why you're excited, and that's because of you will finally get to go to college and chase your dreams." She chuckled.
Not just long enough Lucinda's phone rang. It was a video call from the secret house.
Stefan had met Lucinda during their early years at the secret house. He was a full breed vampire, different from me who was a dhampir.
She was once in a relationship with Luther, a human and Rebekah never supported her affair with Luther. Stefan out of love turned detective as he exposes Luther's dirty affair with different girls in college which led to their break-up.
During her years of dating Luther, she had succeeded in concealing her true identity.
"You know, Stefan really loves you or can't you see the greenlights??" Rebekah scoffed.
"I can't date Stefan. He's just 20, you don't expect me to date a guy I am older than or do you??" She sneered.
"But you both would make a great match." She laughed hard as she dragged down her luggages from the wooden stairs.
Lucinda's iPad had rang.
"Uh oh!!" Rebekah jeered. "Just like I said it and here the caller is??" She mumbled pointing at Lucinda's iPad.
Lucinda hurriedly accepts his incoming video call.
"Hollaaa!!!" Rebekah jumped on the sofa as she waved at Stefan.
"Hehehe!!" He chuckled from the other end. "Rebekah. Longest time no see." He mumbled as he smiled briskly.
"Yeah yeah!!" She replied. "I guess you are checking up if we're set to leave." She scoffed.
"Uhmm don't mind her!!" Lucinda interrupts. "How're you doing??" She asked as she crashed down on the sofa having the back of the iPad up as she rested on the pillow.
"I'm great. So are you guys set to leave??"
"Our flight is in an hour. Rebekah is still getting ready." She mumbled.
"I have something special waiting for you baby girl. I'll be there by eight noon." He smiled briskly.
"Awwn… such a loving and caring bestie!!" She said excitedly.
They kept on talking for a long time before she ended the call.
It was a long trip to San Francisco and they had arrived in the evening. And as he had promised he was there by eight at Rebekah's residence.
He had taken a leave off for the night just to show Lucinda around the newest development in San Francisco.
San Francisco had few new things and he had taken her out to a newly opened Chinese restaurant whose delicacies were top-notch.
He had dropped her off exactly by ten in Rebekah's apartment before leaving.
"Ding ding ding…"
"Heyy lazybones??" Rebekah said as she drags her from her legs.
"Come on Rebekah, not today please!!" Lucinda pleaded. "I'm really tired and I really need to have some rest."
"We have to report to the secret house with every other ascendant." Rebekah snorted.
"I have heard you, Rebekah. I will be at your back." She snapped as she crashed back on the bed.
Rebekah wouldn't give up as she jumped on the bed as she tickled her till she was up. She had groggily gone to bathe as Rebekah prepared breakfast.
It was a few days to her 21st birthday and she was super excited that she would now be working in Trenton's Bar and she would no longer be kept hidden anymore as she was no longer a fledgling.
Like every other vampire, she wasn't different even if her mother was a human and her dad a vampire. She had an extraordinary speed and heightened hearing ability which made it possible for her to hear distant discussions. She could hear indistinct chattering of everybody in a hall and within the years of training in the secret house under Rebekah, she has learned to get along with it without wearing headphones.
That was what made her special, she could hear the dropping of a needle and passing dust. She enjoyed racing and she was a reckless driver because of her extraordinary speed.
They had driven to the secret house among others who had accompanied them on the mission.
They had reached the secret house as they made their reports. They had all passed the test and now they could now work in the TRENTON'S BAR.
In the mere view the TRENTON'S BAR was just a classic bar were people come to spend some good time at night and during the day it was a beautiful cafeteria. But it also housed the secret house and for years it hasn't been breached by humans because it was invisible.
Orpheus Bathory. "Get down on your knees now or I will shoot you down, silver bullet!!" The feminine voice echoed in his head. "Not today Dawn!!" He snarled as he turned back to see her pointing his gun straight to his skull. It was just a toy gun that used very tiny strong balls as bullets. Dawn was sent away by father to school in St. Lazarus Academy. It was a school meant for only vampires. Only the children of powerful and top ranking vampires could school there. Being in San Francisco, father had sent her, placing her under my watch. "Come on brother Orpheus!!" She dropped the gun on the floor as she dragged my hand. "You barely create time for me." She shrugged. She reminded him so much of their late mother. She was just 19, and she was pretty busty and had a good ass that fitted her body. She also had a tanned olive skin like me but her eyes were too black. "Not today Dawn!!" He snapped as he crashed down on the sofa. "You know I'm running out of time and I really ne
Lucinda Orlok It was a cold evening and as usual the cafeteria was already filled up with families and friends who came to enjoy themselves. The music from the club couldn't disturb people at the cafeteria because of the walls and doors. I had noticed a shaky bulb just a few steps after the canteen and I had no option than to get a stool so I could go change the bulb. The stool had lifted upward which made her fall in a backward manner as she lost her balance. "Fvck! I'm crashing down!!" She panicked within as she shut her eyes tightly. Both the faulty bulb and the new bulb had fallen alongside her. For a moment, she felt like her world just got paused as the terrified sound of people yelling as she was falling down instantly ceased. She had opened her right eye like she was trying to peek on someone and for the first time after four years she lost her womanly composure. She had fallen straight into the strong arms of an insanely handsome young man whose hair were very thi
Orpheus Bathory. He had received a call from the regional secret house. The text that followed suit was a very high alert text that stated their little chances of not sustaining injuries. He had to return back to hIs residence immediately. He jolted up from the chair in a hurry after he had told Lucinda his first name. "We have to leave now!!!" He snarled. Dawn understood what was going on. She had also received the same text as they were both at the same location. "You stay back Blaze!!" He muttered, feigning a smile which was still clouded with so much darkness. He had requested for the car keys as he drove off from the canteen with Dawn by his side. "Put on your seatbelt! You sit tight no matter what happens." He snarled. He had to protect her from whatever was about to happen. His eyes grew darker and fierce. His phone had beeped again as it showed a map controlling signals and locations. He had tried his best to avoid this but no, he had to take Dawn out and now he's
Orpheus Bathory"Brotherrrr!!!" Dawn cried out bitterly for his help.He had turned back to see the headphone stained with blood and it lay on the ground with her phone fatally crushed. "Fvck! Fvck!! Fvck!!!" He cursed after letting himself out of the camouflage he had created with his black magic. His vehicle was already messed up badly so there was no need taking it back with him. He smelled of blood. He had transported himself to an underground walkway, which was close to the train station. He scanned through the underground walkway where he had appeared in, he kept on searching everywhere there if he could see any trail to where she was. It was crowded as people were walking to and fro. "Dawn where are you??" He winced as he punched the wall hard till he sustained injuries on. his right hand. He was a transcendent after all and his right hand had healed just immediately. Ding…Ding…Ding…His mobile phone rang abruptly. He had some bruises on his forehead just right below hi
Blaze AstarothHe yawns as he awaits Orpheus to speak up. "Who are you? You impostor!!!" Orpheus snarled as he stormed inside Dawn's room in so much anger. His eyes were burning with flame and his demon was purely visible, making his aura completely dark. "Welcome back sir!!" The male figure stood up from where he was seated as he turned back to look the shock that would overwhelm Orpheus' face. "Blaze??" Orpheus gasped out in shock as he locked gaze with Blaze who had this blunt expression on his face. "Yes sir!!" He mumbled. "Who are you??" His voice died down as his eyes grew more red in anger and confusion. "How long have you known who I am and who sent you to me??" He queried as he held the lamp holder more firm this time around. ****Blaze Ciaran Astaroth, the last descendant of the Astaroth's lineage. He was a transcendent vampire and an orphan. He was 35 years and was schooled under Lawst Bathory, the uncle of Orpheus. His family had died while defending the coven from
"And why won't baby Dawn be going out today out of all days??" Blaze mumbled as he walked in with a bucket of ice cream. "Fvck!!" He groaned. "Not you trying to take sides with Dawn." He shrugged as he stood up from his sofa chair as he stretched his body, cracking his bones. "Actually I think Dawn is right!" He whispered to Orpheus as he walked passed him to where Dawn was now seated. "Guess what??" He asked Dawn, wearing a broad smile. She fold her arms together as she stared at him. "I'm not good at making guesses. Tell brother I really want to go out." "Yeah he will let you go out and he will also go along with you to protect his little charming princess, kuchi-kuchi!!" He teased her. "He told me to get you this bucket of ice cream as a way of apologizing for what happened yesterday." He smiled broadly as he rubbed her hair. "Hmmph… brother isn't that caring." She scoffed as she smiled before taking the bucket of ice cream. Orpheus had come out from his bathroom as water roll
She parted her moist lips apart letting a deep breath escape through her mouth. He stared at her beautiful dove eyes for a while, he looked through her brown-rimmed eyeglasses. She had a beautiful sparkling blue eyes like that of an ocean. Looking at her made him feel like he had come across her some time ago. But he couldn't place a guess, it couldn't be the same girl he had seen at the bar, "she had black eyes not blue." He mumbled under his breath. "Yeah, sure I'm fine!!" She snapped again bringing him out of his thoughts. "I'm sorry." She mumbled. "Oii..uhmmm your bag." He muttered as he stretched his hand to give her, her bag which was about dropping down. "Are you sure about that??" He asked as he scanned through her thoroughly like he was searching for a scratch. "Actually it's my fault, I wasn't just concentrating… I'm sorry." He apologized, taking the blame. She stepped backwards from him as she adjusted her eyeglasses and then her gown which had gone up a little, exposin
Orpheus Bathory. "Bing!" "Bing!" "Bing!" The alarm clock kept on blaring really hard, hitting against my head so badly. I groaned as I kept on turning recklessly on my bed. I had taken a whole lot of vodka and few shots of sangria with the nerdy lady. I wasn't expecting her to be at the Garbina bar yesterday. "You??" I was left dumbstruck as I saw the girl from the Trenton's bar I had saved few days back. I couldn't remember her underneath her eyeglasses, her bulb hair and the nerdy cloth she wore. The moment I saw her two friends I remembered who she was and where we had seen. "Uhmm.." i chuckled softly as they all looked at me as I called out to her. "Uhmm!!" I scratched my hair a bit trying to remember her name so fast. "We met at the bar. Luci.." "Lucinda!" She completed it as she smiled lightly. She looked pretty in her nerdy look. I felt aderaline rush over me. "Oh yeah!" I mumbled. "You look really beautiful tonight beneath those glasses of yours." I heaved a deep
